That's what suck about all this...
Woodson likes Melo at power forward...but we all want to go for Kevin Love....can the Knicks win with Kevin Love and Melo at the 4 and 3? Would Love even want to come here to play with Melo?
Bad mix defensively so I dont think so. Just dreamin so dont yell but Lebron would be the perfect hybrid forward next to our hybrid forward

Maybe the Knicks should take a run at Deng

[/quote That is a reasonable fit/idea though I dont know what we could offer them. I like Gibson as well

We gotta think of something cuz this doesn't get any better. The plan can't be broke leg rondo in 2 years. It just gets stupid and stupid

Exactly. The NBA basically amounts to getting lucky in the draft or free agency. The Knicks basically have to do the second one.
As long as Carmelo's injury is truly just the ankle, and not too serious... I think our worst days this season will soon be behind us.
I think injuries and roster changes have derailed us all season, and that we can still turn it around.

This team scks. Melo has played 90%+ of the games and were playing .28 ball Tyson chandler is a piece that might be valuable to the right team. Not this team. Bargs is inconsistent. Felton's body is catching up with him. We can't count on amare Kenyon map. This is a very bad team. And it would not surprise me if melo was a lal next year and we get nothing for it
Soooooooo... are you saying that you're not feeling positive?

no one is coming to NY to play with carmelo.. lol, that is a myth... Players play for money, as long as we have cap space, someone will bite... but the plan should be looking to build through the draft, so that the situation is attractive enough to draw the right star player here and not some overpaid, wannabe chucking, no defense playing donkey...

A buddy of mine is a lifelong friend of Jason Kidd. Kidd told him he was going to ny because he wanted to play with melo and that melo is a great guy.
I think this forum is already positive compare with many other knicks forum

Nice. Lets hope this happens. I do love Bargs against Hibbert and I would love to see this knick team at full health.
I think the team has to go through this low in order to have any chance at "Goodness". Melo needs to hit rock bottom in order to change his game.
I don't really care if we make it or not, but it's on the guys on the court. You all know, once you hit the bottom there is no way to go but up.
The question is, does Melo, JR, etc. change their style of play and make those around them better? Stranger things have happened,
but I'm not holding my breath. The one chance we have is cap space, but Dolan will surely try to reassemble a shitty team, per his illuminati (break the people of NY down) contract.
I'm positively a Knicks fan.
I survived Louie Orr and Ken Bannister and Pat Cummings and Greg Butler and Matt Fish and Bob Thornton.
I'm positive I will survive this season.
misterearl said it... we need a PG. Remember how terrible a healthy Amare/Melo/Tyson looked when Tony Douglas was running the point? Knicks should have used the pick for Lowry. They look so much worse then they should because of the guard play. It really reminds me of when we had Douglas and were waiting on Baron Davis or anyone else who could dribble the ball w/o it bouncing off their foot.
Still a Knicks fan but not positive about this group anymore. This weekend really hurt. It convinced me that Woodson needs to go. He has lost the team. He is lost. The team is lost. Get rid of him now. That being said the team is still in bad shape. However, if a coach can come in and simplify things. They need to play hard on D and the players must be held accountable. Those things could make the team at least watchable for the rest of the year.

And now winning the nomination for Best Combined Post of this very sad year so far...
Thank you gentlemen; there are a few brave souls left after all in this festering tank of blow it all up despair...
