Rivers is all over ESPN telling people he's not interested in bigs. The man needs a PG. See the crapola he's signing to 10 day contracts.
"Hello Jimmie?"
"Yeah?"
It's Andrew Bynum calling....Wanna go bowling?"
I don't know if the Nets can use the trade exemption to sign BYnum but if they can--Id imagine they will try to outbid everyone else. Evene 3mm for the rest of the year would likely beat all other offers. Hes from NJ he only needs to play 20 minutes and he would make that team MUCH MUCH better. Put KG at PF and Bynum at C and it will be difficult for teams to score at the basket in the halfcourt.

I think they can. It is a disabled player exemption so I believe it is like a salary slot. I did read that Bynum is looking for a multi year deal so that might not work out for him.

The Nets are a potential suitor for Andrew Bynum too and could use the $5.2 million Disabled Player Exception they were just granted.
