My two picks are
Deonte Burton PG 6-1 190
Jordan Bachynski C 7-2 250
Love both of these guys--and come at the positions that I feel are important to us going F---center and PG if we resign Carmelo. We do not have a big under contract for 2015. Bachynski is also well undervalued--a solid offensive post center who runs the floor much better than he did--runs it well rebounds very well and might be the best shot blocker in the draft.

Burton's strength and athleticism looks off the charts but I mainly see dunks and plays that I can judge his skill and court vision etc....
From what I saw, he looks somewhere between the body type of a young, Raymond Felton with Wade like strength and athleticism, with a gunner type mentality of a Brandon Jennings
Impressive explosiveness, jumping ability/athleticism, and strength

Looks like a young Robin Lopez 2.0, that played as Man among boys, but seemed like he would develop in to a solid role player
In my opinion he has a greater ceiling than Lopez did but will take 2years or so to develop as most BIGs do adapting to the NBA strength/speed/athleticism
He has good athleticism and size, and decent foot work/speed/IQ
Are these both expected to be in this draft or for the next draft?
We still have our 3m to use in trades or to use to purchase picks, many teams have many extra 2nd rounders but I am not sure what would be available to us with our lack of assets to give back outside of the usual suspects and no future 2nd round picks in the near future
In this "deep" draft, many talents may go LATE or maybe even undrafted, hopefully we are able to purchase or trade for a pick or 2 and/or buy 1
Maybe even sign an undrafted FA or 2
but
I am not sure if Murry and Tyler could be part of a future plans in development as well, guess we will just have to wait and see
I hope we can send out Udrih, Pablo, and MWP for something, as their contracts could add up to a decent contract, however, it would likely take one of a SG's or a future 1st round pick to go with MWP (considered a bad contract with a player option at this point)
I would greatly look in to James Johnson on a 2 year partial guarantee on team option on a vet min deal if he is available

3. Smart - powerful lead guard
4. Randle - low post moves and rebounding/Zebo 2.0
5. Hood - 6-7 SG(he'll never get picked ahead of Wiggins due to lack of hype but i think hes better)
6. Wiggins - NCAA doesnt suit him but he still looks "streaky" at best
7. AGordon - he's smaller than i thought and he has no perimeter skills/6-8 tweener
8. Levine - jumping jack perimeter needs consistency
9. G.Harris - Beal 2.0
10. A. Payne - speights 2.0
i dont think this will be a legendary draft (like 2003) but i think it will be deep. Meaning the 30th pick might be as good as the 3rd pick. yet both will be solid NBA starters in the long run (instead of hall of famers)

I really love both Burton and Wright as guards. Two different body types but each has great distinctive NBA assets. Im a poor sleeper so I watch a lot of the later college games--I ve seen Burton going back and hes made more for the NBA than college. Hes strong a top 10 athlete in cbb with long arms and hands(important for the NBA) powerful skilled. His jumpshot is average--but that can be improved--your talking 35% 3 and 75% FT 48 from the field===good numbers. He reminds me a lot of Damian Lillard--not quite the shooter but again that can be improved.
I would suggest anyone see Wright play--he plays for utah. I do not think he will be in this draft--and if he is I dont think he will be a guy in our range--meaning I think hes likely to go above 20. Hes a n old school lengthy guard who also plays hard very skilled and can defintely play NBA lead guard. Needs some bulk but his skillevels are well above most players in college. His body is a ??
Bachyinski is an older player--hell be 25 this year--so that will play against him. But at a legit 7-2 skilled player--hes a fantastic 2nd round pick.

NED, not saying we wouldn't make wrong decisions but we would in fact give some good opinions for the franchise rather than just on a message board if management would actually listen
I mean we give our 2 cents the past couple of years for free, especially Briggs
Rather than some here that just like to consistently bash other posters and ask why didn't we pick such and such AFTER they were drafted and those players showed their skills in the season or summer camp
I would love to be able to work with Briggs and management together to build a team together
Finding an understanding, development, and a philosophy on what is important in building a team because in the recent history that has been our biggest issue
Collecting talent is important but they all have to work, fit, and be able to develop TOGETHER

One red flag sticks out when you look at eWright's stats. He can't shoot the three. I haven't seen him play, but I know his brother did a good job of developing his spot up J. Is Delon hitting the midrange shot or is simply outclassing opponents with his first step. He has 66 percent field goal percentage, which is really impressive,

Kevin Love (player PF/C when we go small at times but with an athletic/long SF/PF)
Duncan/KG (with room exemption or vet min) (with a promise making him a future HEAD COACH or assistant coach with a LARGE SALARY and player option for year 2-3 in 2015 that we would pay him even if he retires, they both would be great mentors for yoots development...
This summers MLE, we must be able to sign talent with this because we have failed the past 2 summers with Kidd and MWP/Pablo
Bayless (this summers Mini MLE other players to target include Trevor Ariza, Peterson (ex Rocket now on Raptors), Marion (his age scares me but he is still a solid player that does a bit of everything and could be a mentor to James Johnson)
Keeping only one of either JR, Felton, Tim Hardaway JR, and/or Raymond Felton and trading the rest for cap relief and draft picks (either low 1st round or multiple 2nd round picks when their value goes higher)
James Johnson (this summer 2 year team option vet min deal with partial guarantee for 2nd year)
Kmart
resign Amare/AB/Chandler, to a cap friendly deal with team option deal in the vet min to 2m to 2.5m range, like Anthony I would like them to take a paycut with player option for year 2, so we can use the cap space to assemble a team with much more talent/youth
Toure Murry to a 2 year vet min deal fully guaranteed or partial guaranteed for 2nd year in the summer
2015 pick (1st round pick)
some young players with upside that Duncan and some of our vets here can work with and help develop like Tyler, Darko Milicic, Jordan Henriquez, Chris Johnson (ex Twolve) maybe 2 of these players
Don't compare when Darko was drafted, he really is a solid player when given minutes, of course if he hasn't been training and working on his game I would scratch him though
but he is still young and doesn't have much mileage because of his lack of PT
I know many would blast me with Darko Milicic but I have watched him the past 5 years and he is a solid still young player with upside and could do a bit of EVERYTHING including
a solid post player with decent passing for a big, a 12 foot jumper, and solid DEF/SHOT BLOCKING/REBOUNDING
Using our 3m for and in the summer, to purchase/trade for picks in this "DEEP DRAFT" and we could use again by this summer
in addition to making some trades hopefully for Briggs players above in

Give Popavich and a GM a nice salary that would be tough to refuse and giving them to keys and Dolans word that he wouldn't get involved and eventually moving Poppavich to a management position like President of Operations as he would develop and find his new successor much like Pat Riley did when he went to The Heat
Target a new Head Coach hopefully Poppavich or even Jeff Van Gundy, along with a REAL GM (Presti if we can get many 1st round picks if not Buford), and a REAL PLAYER DEVELOPMENT STAFF, and having all working together

Without a pick this summer, I don't think we would be able to acquire him, not without a trade that requires assets or taking back a bad contract back
This is however, a "DEEP" draft, so maybe we can somehow acquire him with a 3m to spend in trades and also acquire another pick or 2 with the 3m we can spend again next season (not sure if we have to wait an entire year or it is use it or lose it....
He looks like a young Raymond Felton to me with way more athleticism, maybe even reach, but has similar characteristics in strength/toughness, ability to penetrate (especially when younger), is stuck between a PG/SG with a PG's height, and I cannot tell if he has a good IQ and ability to create for others with the clips
In fact, most of the clips he already has a lane already and his explosiveness/athleticism allows him to finish, he also looks to be ambidextrous and has big hands to palm the ball
