Yeah, the other teams' bigs may have dominated when Tyson wasn't in but as cited above, Tyson has still outplayed his man this season. You can't evaluate his defense by including the production of the opponents' bigs when Tyson is on the bench.
I find it ridiculous to pay Chandler the amount he gets 5 million dollar player at best.
For sure but you also have to admit we allowed 85 points per in the 6 out of 7 win streak and over 100 when Tyson has been back... And teams are still scoring at will in the paint vs us with Tyson on the floor.. It's not all his fault... And the center position is the weakest talent wise in the league.. He's no longer elite as he was before when he was averaging a double double with lock down defense.. Even though he is only 31 he's been in the league for 12 seasons and 8 of them were also in the playoffs that's a lot of miles. And he has proven to ware down during playoffs getting man handled by hibbert garnet and west. I'm not saying Tyson is a bad player, he's just really over rated . Last year his 18.8 was ranked 43 in the nba right around b Lopez,zack Randolph, jr smith... And you have to admit he's lost a step or to..

And most make less then chandler, and give their team more production then chandler dose... And at 14 mil that's a lot of people in front of chandler who is no longer considered elite, he ranks 23 in my book. And at 14 mill I'd call that a top 5 overrated player. Also if you look at all those players stats all producing more the chandler with the exception of a few injured on the list, and norleans Noah, I just think he's a beast.

Yeah and the bs he spit in the playoffs when he was losing games for the Knicks is close to unforgivable.

I said this before and I will say it again the Knicks should make a deal with Utah for Gobert.
