He is raw and will make rookie mistakes as he finds his groove. But he is 6'4 and he plays defense. When he gets 15 minutes, his performance actually improves.
Shump and Felton are inconsistent. Toure and Pablo would be fun to watch as one could pick up the other on defense.

Priggy is going to bury Murry in the rotation. That sucks because I truly believe the dude can contribute now. Sometimes you just gotta give the kids the ball and roll with the mistakes. Knicks need to be thinking about the future. If they can get a better feel for what Toe can do then we might not need to waste assets and cap space on a point guard. Same could be said about Jeremy and Thjr. I personally think the knicks have a holy trinity with these guys. I can see Jeremy becoming the starting 4, Toure at point and Thjr at shooting guard. If we keep shump he should be the backup. If Melo stays the knicks could be good again from within.... that's all we ever wanted as fans.

Hey, at least he might learn from his mistakes, as opposed to a knucklehead like JR who still makes mistakes and has been in the league.
I like the play we've gotten from him. Shump ain't doing much. We need something from someone.

Toure needs more seasoning..He has a problem not understanding spacing and passing..he has made some bad passes in tough situations that led to turnovers...Every Knick yoot is a future star eh...

The guy definitely has the talent to play in this league, unlike some former players on this roster.
Watching Felton get abused every game is old news. Give the guy some more minutes, I'm not expecting Lin 2.0 though.

I am not the biggest felton fan.. but I sure am not in for seeing murry play over felton. I don't think murry is a NBA talent at this point.. and if you think felton is getting abused nightly wait till you get a load of this kid on a nightly basis for extended minutes...

I have not watched enough games this year, but I have watched enough of Fatton to know that I would want Mike Bibby in his current state. I hate Fatton with a passion. Similar to tkf's hatred of Melo. The reason I hate Fatton is because he can be really good but his fatness is stopping him from being really good. He reminds me too much of myself

I can't see anyone other than Beno doing a worse job than Felton. Murray offers a nice change of pace and can harass guard fullcourt. That alone is worth minutes. I'm not saying the kid is a future star or player, but he is definitely a rotation player and he excel at aspects of the game that our other PGs are weak at.

And I am one who thinks Felton's offense is seriously overrated by some.
So my thinking is that, bc Murry's D (yes, my opinion) is leaps and bounds better than Felton's, one has to look at what the drop off in offense efficiency between the two. I know Ray is better there, but I swear as I type this Felton threw an entry pass to Bargs outta bounds. He's special.
W/ other ball handlers on the floor, Toure has help and because he isn't the strongest ball handler, it actually seems to create more ball movement. The guy is a role player at best, I know. Still important for him to get some time though.

Rubio. I dont care about the low gg%. The kid plays D and distributes. Put him with Melo and a sg and they are all better. Id also move Chandler for a def F and use Bargs at c This team is badly put together

Murray was All-D-League All-Defensive 2nd team. This is the D-League we're talking about. You might find a John Starks type every once in a while, but you probably ain't gonna find a Gary Payton.
