I don't even understand what the hell our players are doing there defensively- it's inexcusable to be a vet and be that clueless on defense. Pathetic- Melo's reaction is my reaction

Get rid of these clueless losers

Some posters have stated that Melo doesn't care about winning, only his numbers and his $. That reaction, as well as numerous comments he's made throughout the season say other wise....

Well lets be honest, some of those posters already didn't like him to begin with. I wouldn't be surprised to see this spun to the point where he's blamed for showing his emotion like that.

And he should be blamed for showing that head wag or whatever it was.

He's just shaking his head now?

We've been shaking our heads at HIM for a few years now. Welcome to the party you helped organize, Melo Ass Clown

He called out the switching defense as well. I don't see where the problem is with that.

Problem is that he wasn't playing any D last night, Blatche was hitting open jumper after jumper..He didn't want to leave the rim.....Hibbert torched him in the playoffs and he was pointing fingers saying no one gave him help...

You're completely right but that doesn't invalidate what Chandler is saying

And doesn't validate it either..I wasn't in the team meetings..I call what I see...What I do know is Chandler tried to blame others when Hibbert ripped him a new one..

Haven't you seen us switch and double needlessly, leading to mismatches and wide open shots for the other team? That should validate it.

Chandler is an issue himself. I'm growing tired of his act and that "leader" reputation.

Woodson have been saying on radio and other interviews he doesn't tell them to switch, only if the guy is your size like Melo on Paul George then switch to West..Otherwise he said he doesn't tell them to switch..He said this on SAS show..So is he lying??

holfresh @ 1/21/2014 11:20 AM
Another thing, does the DPOY need his coach to draw up X and O so he can figure out the run out on his man who continues to knocks down open/uncontested shot after shot??..I must be getting old...

He and Hahn said that the only switch he doesn't want is the 1 and the 5. Whether he was lying or not, he has a problem both ways. 1- He's telling the truth and guys are still doing it anyway. Pablo, Ray, Beno, they all switch with the 5 man. Toure is the only one who fights through screens. If the players are tuning him out he has a problem 2- He's lying and just telling them to switch anyway which I don't think is the case really but it would be consistent with Tyson's comments. The doubling of the post regardless of who the player is is still a problem as well.
holfresh @ 1/21/2014 11:26 AM
Tyson is not credible ...He proved that in the playoffs..
TeamBall @ 1/21/2014 11:29 AM
So you don't see guys switching and doubling out there?
Nalod @ 1/21/2014 3:54 PM
Y'all need an emotional tapon.

Tyson was not being cryptic in his message. He said they got out played at all levels. Nets adjusted. They are deep and come at you at waves right not. Blatch is better than any of our bigs. Dude can spread the floor.

CAA made sure Bargs not aldridge came here? Ouch!

I say Priggy turn his back on a player with the ball. Don't tell me the media did that, or the coach. Thats the player.

Knicks destroyed this net team earlier? W'happpen? I know what I saw and Doris Burke don't make it easier. She piled on big time.

Melo's look did not tell the whole story. Actually he should show passion instead of a broken resolve. I never saw Lebron do what he did. He should start fights with guys that miss their assignments.

Aldridge coming here is a little bit of a reach, no?

Actually I'm not. He stated that he only doesnt want the 1 and the 5 to switch (which they do anyway). He still has our other guys switch when they don't need to.

That's not what I actually heard Woodson say in interviews..

Either way you look at it its on Woody for not immediately calling a timeout the 1st time he saw a unnecessary switch. I gave Woody the benefit of the doubt but he does so many things that go against winning.

True, he could have called a time out after Blatche 4th consecutive wide open jumper..

Why wait so long? Why continue to play Bargs and Tyson together despite the fact that they suck together? Why comment on how good teams keep the same line up and then say he will adjust his lineups based on who the knicks play. Why have a long hook with Felton after several back 2 back 2 back 2 back 2 back...... bad plays. Why continue to run Melo/Tyson into the ground in a blowout. Why send subs immediately to the table after a time out with 2 minutes left in a blow out instead of subbing during? That's a lot of whys. lol.

Anyway, Why not go zone? Their zones have actually been pretty good. I think it would be interesting to try it. A box in one with Shump out front and Bargs/Felton high & Melo/Chandler low. I want Bargs high for his length and the wing three is the hardest three and I don't trust him guarding the corners.
