Been happening to all the players all year...Bargs did something similar during the game, I kept rewinding it for my wife...Good things happen when Prigs is on the court..

You are assuming Melo comes back next year.
You are assuming by trading Amare, JR etc we will get players with expiring contracts only to preserve cap space.
You are assuming that the player that we can get back for our trash will not be trash.
You are assuming that star players will want to come here. It did not happen last time unless you consider Amare a star.
That is a lot to assume.

JR, Shumpert and even Felton can be shed to contenders with hope and holes. Melo return? Here is my assumption He's gone unless the deck is cleared. He can wait a year for a second star and some useful pieces to be added , he aint waiting around with this cast. No one is a LebRon and he's not a Durant but Melo's a stud and you dont shed him for picks and start a four year rebuild . Vmart wrote:No one should question Melo's desire to win the guy is a winner. There is just to much crap that surrounds him. He is going into games with a bunch of backups and third stringers and a few D-leaguers. Holy f'ing shyt. When everyone opens their eyes and looks at the team without rose colored glasses you will find that there are two keepers on this team and that is Melo and Hardaway going forward. Up and down this roster there is not a player that you would consider starter material. Chandler might be the closest thing to a starter since the league is devoid of centers.Someone who gets it

I think he wants out, he has been yapping of late and not giving his all...Barkley said he was the heart and soul of the Knicks...He doesn't play every night and his frequest illnesses are just too much..
I hate everything about it, from ownership to the last man on the bench.
If Im still a fan, its because of the past, and you can't live on the past.
Only way to have a silver lining here is to trade everybody with trade value.
Its ironic because this might be my favorite season from Melo, but he has to be traded along with everybody else.
There is no other way to fix this than to start over.
New coach, new philosophy, new players and just simply a breath of new fresh air.
If that doesn't happen, Im gone. Ill check scores a few times but really, the fan in me is on its last breath as this is simpky the biggest embarrassment in an already embarrassing franchise.
holfresh wrote:He has become quick to criticize in the media when he is supposed to be a leader on the team and the guy with championship pedigree. He is always hurt and when he comes back he is weak from illness and disrupts the flow the team had (they did have chemistry finally pre-Tyson returning) and then complains about others. If the Knicks can get something reasonable for him move him out.yellowboy90 wrote:Tyson going after Woody with his comments after the game?I think he wants out, he has been yapping of late and not giving his all...Barkley said he was the heart and soul of the Knicks...He doesn't play every night and his frequest illnesses are just too much..
He came in as this guy who preached accountability, but it was all talk. He's not really a guy that will get in a players face or sit a player for a long stretch if needed. Guys like JR and Felton can do whatever on the court and what does Woody do? NOTHING! If Bargs is loafing, he should pull him and get in his face, but what does Woody do? NOTHING! He's just a fraud.
