The nets had the brains not to start Deron his first game back. Woodson started Raymond, tain and Priggy on their first games back.... the man has no grip on reality.
He started Melo, tyson with Felton, shump and Priggy. Wtf is this?
He benched Murry and Tyler.
enough is too much. Hey a new guy in here that will play his roster properly and not because he's scared to death to coach.
The knicks are embarrassed and is not simply because we were without Amare and kmart. The excuse train is over.
time to blow up th entire team IMO
3:25 left and tyson, Melo, felton, Smith ate all still in the game. .... fuck this guy
Cannot understand why starters would be in this game
Play the damn yoot
Cannot understand why starters would be in this game
Too stubborn
Melo is walking

yup yup

You're right he does. But what do you think a better coach could do with this roster and everything it entails? All the injuries, low IQs, inconsistent shooters, and just plain bad players? Might as well just play out the season because even if we do make the playoffs we're not going anywhere. Finish this, can Woody, and try to make some moves.
The Knicks could still make the playoffs. Corporate goal accomplished.
I was listening to the game on the radio - and I heard Shump and Woodson got into it - anyone know what happened?
Woodson should go as should several players. We have backups at nearly every position

No, it would be appropriate that the Knicks DIDN'T MAKE THE PLAYOFFS. Maybe that would impress upon management the gravity of their situation.

+100000 and that INCLUDES Woody. He's in waay over his head: Has no muffugin idea how to coach this roster.

The knicks need to get someone in here to manage the team with guys in their natural positions, playing a traditional set. This small ball is the death of us. After losing to Indiana and the hiccup in Boston during the playoffs you would think they would learn. We are going backwards.
My problem with Woodson is that he never gave this roster a chance to excel. He was LOST from the very start. Even in preseason you could see that there was no direction. No scheme or base philosophy that the team could cling to. You take the same players and give them a coach with a simple plan for success and they'd play better. That doesn't mean they'd be great, but you would see some semblance of a plan on the floor.
Woody has no PLAN!!! He has made his rep on 3 big win streaks over his tenure, which did nothing to prove his coaching ability. It's a season like this where you need a coach to set the tone for the team and give them a core set of principles to play from. Today you saw Woody waffle on his own defensive scheme and the players looked lost. Switching has been a core principle of Woody's defense since day on and now he wants them to stop doing it? This is the sign of a bad coach!!!
Woody has been waving the white flag before the preseason. I picked up on it and I guarantee you the players picked up on it.
I miss Donnie Walsh. I wonder if Dolan does too.

Dolan has Isiah so he is fine.
The titans of business and basketball together...
What a team what a result!!! Priceless!!

I don't. I do miss grunwald. Agree abiut woodson but it is a lot easier to coach if the gm has your back.
post game soundbite of Chandler saying "out schemed"....
Very flawed roster, so coach not the only, or even, primary problem. No fan of his, but, deciding on Melo (and him deciding on team) much more critical issue than coach.
