How about sending JR and MWP to SAC for Thornton? I just want JR gone.

you may want JR gone now, but if you trade him who will keep it real with you? there is no one realer than jr and that's gotta count for something

Honest question, is Thornton really an upgrade over JR? Every time I see him he just looks like a selfish chucker who takes bad shots. Even worse than JR.

Pros to making this trade.

1. We get rid of JR
2. Thornton contract is 1 year shorter than JR

I mentioned this last week. The guy is still capable of scoring like a mad man.
cousins and gay were out 2 games ago, he went off for 42 pts AGAINST INDIANA 16/27 from the field

Doesn't make any sense chic they are trying to build a young nucleus. Smith is an asshole. But of course I want him gone. Worth a try but we need to get another position. Tim Hardaway is the future at shooting guard.

@ENYSPREE, You keep thornton this yr and let him play it out. Then at the end of the yr you move him as an expiring or if he's playing great you keep him. But his deal is a yr shorter than JR's.
You also get fredette, whos a lights out shooter, eating the sacramento bench.

I'm not a fan of Thornton's game but if it means getting rid of useless players or malcontents, then I'm all for it.

The problem with such a trade is that we would be sending a malcontent (JR), and a useless player(MWP) for players with shorter, better contracts. Ain't gonna fly.
