Would the bucks accept this trade ? Remember we are in the win now mode would you do it ?
Bucks get Amare Stoudemire, Tim Hardaway Jr, Iman Shumpert, Raymond Felton, Cole Aldrich
Knicks get Larry sanders, Illyasova, OJ mayo, Gary Neal, Luke Ridnour

We are always in the win now mode but never actually come close to winning

In all seriousness i want to keep hardaway and even shumpert. I know from your posts you ahte picks/youth BUT it hasnt worked the other way. we need to sttart getting moe youth in the team
Bucks reasoning, only have Amare for 1 year, so they don't have 30 mill a year for the next 3 on mayo, Illyasova, and Sanders.
Knicks best chance of moving Amare is buying someone out of multiple year contracts.
Milwaukee seems like a possible fit for that because they have a few other younger players that might have more potential and they know if they help the Knicks out they'll win a spot in the lottery.

If u want to trade for half of a team why pick the worst team in the league?

+1
You can't trade Shump and Tim Jr and not get the PG back to run with Melo the next 4 years...

I like the spirit of it. The Bucks would probably want to get rid of those long-termed contracts and I wouldn't be opposed to assuming them. The problem is that I doubt those guys are very much of an upgrade over what we currently have. Also, they'd have to take JR and send back a pick or two for me to even consider it.

Cuz you gotta pick a team dumber than us!

Because nobody (GM's) in the association is ever going to help us get better by us trading away what we don't want or need . James Dolan franchise is the richest franchise in the league.
That trade sucks and why on earth are we giving up the best player in thjr I'd want the long guy from Greece if we give up on thjr who is going to be a all star..if I were the bucks I'd jump all over this... Luke is worse then Felton.. Oj is super over rated and Larry is more one dem. then chandler ... And to have the nerve to put thjr in this deal is awful .. I want there first unprotected or the 19 year old kid from Greece .. Sova is super over rated as well...if we were to do this trade it would put us in a dark hole for a wile with no picks
No, they won't. If you take Larry Sanders out of the trade we might be able to work something out but he's not going anywhere anytime soon if Milwaukee can help it.
This is a horrible trade for us.

It really isn't a bad trade. There needs to be some tinkering done, like taking Tim Hardaway out and putting JR in, but the players we'd be getting our serviceable and what we'd be sending out is trash. If they added Brandon Knight, I'd make the trade in a heartbeat.

Hardaway and Shump have potential and are very young. They are the two best players in the trade IMO. That trade makes zero sense. We'd be getting back a bunch of mediocre players and a JR-like chucker in Mayo. I think you could argue we're giving up four of the top 5 players in that deal.
Add remove hardaway. Add JR, and include Their 2014 PICK UNPROTECTED. and you have a deal
This trade idea, as it stands now, makes us worse. If people hate Chandler, they'll really hate Sanders. The dude's defense isn't enough to offset his bad offense. We already have Bargs. Why add another inconsistent Euro big man in Ilyasova? Ridnour and Felton are a wash. Gary Neal is Gary Neal. He's a nice player, but THJ is already better than him. Milwaukee would accept this trade, but the Knicks would need a first-round pick back just to consider it.
Its not the big trades that will help any club--and really when do you ever see anything like this.
Here is an example of an excellent trade...... Memphis traded for Courtney Lee 11 games ago--in those 11 games hes averaged 14 points as their SG at 55% theyve been 9-2 since. He has helped create space for their two bigs and their defense also picked up. How badly couldve we used Courtney Lee to replace Shumpert?

I agree, should be the first place we look to get better.

Potential to be what; role players? I like Hardaway and think he has an outside shot of becoming a star-ish player but Shumpert's never going to be much better than he already is. Shump for Knight would be a wash. If we take Hardaway out and insert JR and Brandon Knight into the trade, I'd consider it.

I've always been a fan of Courtney Lee. I've also been a fan of Brandon Rush, who is a very similar player. I haven't seen much of him since the ACL injury but wouldn't mind taking a chance on him during the offseason.
