why is is that the gfl guys drop Lin posts the minute he has a couple of good games, but are dead silent when he goes on his long terrible stretches? Lin's having another up and down season where he's made it clear that he's a borderline starting PG who is getting paid like a good starting PG.
oh and gfl = gay for Lin
Felton isn't the answer at PG but neither was Lin, especially at his bloated price.

I am in the trenches with ya man. The closest I ever came to trying to stop being a Knick fan was after we Let Lin go for nothing. We could have traded for Felton and then had Lin come off the bench until he was ready to take over long term. Even if you did not like the poison pill you could have played him the first two years then traded him before the poison hit.

This is what I don't understand. You guys have seen what this franchise does and how Dolan acts and you still want to let them rebuild? I'll take my chances with Melo. And guns, you would have had a similar reaction when the Knicks traded Mark Jackson in the early 90's for Charles Smith and Doc Rivers.He was averaging 8.6 assists the year before he was traded. NY has not had a PG of his caliber ever since.

Because Lin came off the bench in under 30 minute and had himself a triple double. He almost had a triple double the game before as well. Houston is a championship contender team. What is New York Knicks right now?

salary matters to the haters for Melo, but salary is no object and it's only Dolan's money when we're talking about Lin, right? I don't give a F about Dolan's money, but there is such a thing as a Cap, and letting Lin walk at the time wasn't the worst idea given that he can't shoot and he turns the ball over too much.
seriously i think half of you guys are Asian and the other half are sexually attracted to Lin. The guy can't even win the starting job on his own team, give it a rest. He's decent, but nobody wants him at his current price. The Rockets would have dealt him in a heartbeat if anyone came knocking, but nobody did.
Actually, it's more like this: Salary that affects cap space matters but salary that doesn't affect it, doesn't matter.

I do feel Lin is vastly overpaid, but I agree...not my money.
I also agree his deal is quite hard to move just like Asik.
Lin is a good player though, but not the player I'd want leading my team.
