I watched him play last night and said this is why teams like coming to NY and play against a woody designed defense that allows NY 's pg's to defend Centers on defense and vice versa
Frederette is a great practice player, but against above average guard in the association he gets physically abused trying to play defense.
If he was as good as he shown last night against the knicks he would rival Isiah Thomas in minutes.
He's played like Mark Price against the Knicks , but against the rest of the association he's more like Scotty Brooks.

I would take Scotty Brooks now compared to Fatton.

A player like Jimmer Freddette is EXACTLY what the Knicks need to put in with Carmelo. Not only can he play the 2nd PG in that Pablo role--but he can actually really shoot and drive the ball unlike what Pable does. He would be a massive upgrade--a guy would have a great niche role here. He would take pressure off of Felton and put pressure on opposing defenses. I think Jim Dolan believes every player we need to win must make 12mm + and we have to give up 20 assets to get them. No not true. If he listened to his basketball people on Lowry--wed be in a different position. Now can we get a player like Fredette and change part of the roster at the dealine to change or atleast attempt to>??????

Briggs any guard that can get to the paint and rim is more productive than an older Prigioni in that area.
Frederette played against a lazy defensive team last night, all teams know just pick the knicks guards and they get wide open shots with mismatches, so by the 4th qtr they are mentally done.
Fredertte is a exceptional shooter that would play well on a veteran team where his team plays great team defense. He would fit well on the Bulls.
Classic below average player coming into MSG and having a career night against a team that can't seem to get up for weak competition. He'd be an absolute turd here and we would ALL hate his guts 30 games in. Pass.

Its funny how many years people say the Knicks play down to their competition when the Knicks have the same brutal record. Nope we stink too. Freddette would be anice complimentary player on a team with a player like Melo hes been playing very well since they acquired Rudy Gay
