He's officially out of his China contact on February 16th...I think the knicks need to waive or trade the guy they chose ahead of him Beno Urich, and sign Bobby Brown to a 10 day. I think he dominates right away, he can score and get in the paint at will. He can shoot the lights out. I can see him being the Chris child off the bench for us at the very least.
I see him being Linsanity 2.0
Not a bad idea. Why go after Affalo when this guy might be able to do the same (not sure of his defense though).
We basically need a Lin 2.0 as we have pretty much given away our pics and don't have anything of value (that we don't need).
I would trade JR for a very good pg if that was possible, but I just don't see any takers. (Though I could imagine a team like OKC actually wanting someone like him, even SA if the needed a SG. A team with order would help him out. It is when he needs to do too much that he has probs.)
Would love for the Knicks to sign Brown. I think you waive Murry to make room and resign him after Beno is traded at the deadline. Maybe a move is done before then but 2/16 is on Sunday and it would be a great end to the all star weekend to know that the Knicks were bringing this guy in. This could be like the Kenyon signing last year or even bigger.
Can we just sign him outright? And I'd prefer we not waive Murre. We need to see what he gots over time. Is there somebody else we could jettison? Maybe Beno?
This move sounds too good to be true. Definitely not within the realm of possibility for current management. He'll probably be coming to The Garden, with some other team, to light us up. Okay management, prove me wrong!
Knicks need to move udrih tonight and sign brown. If not waive murry e
with the intent of resigning him. Mills played for Pete Carril at Princeton. He needs to use that education and make some smart, no risk moves.
Bump - Brown now can sign in the NBA officially. Has to be the best move we can make right now. I think the clippers are interested and in contention it's going to be a tough sell to get him here.

I agree except that he should get more minutes in ny. Backing up Paul and Collison can't equal many minutes. He may have a sour taste in his mouth from how the Knicks handled things last summer (can't remember but it seemed like they had him fly in at least 3 times). Knicks need to move Udrih for a second rounder to free up a roster spot and sign Brown. Maybe offer him a deal like Beverly got last year where it is three years with team options for year two and three.

He's in the playoffs in China. I dunno when it's over. He's on instagram saying he had 2 more games..... not sure if it's for the championship or not. Anyway if the knicks are going to make a miraculous come back and make the playoffs he would need to sign before March 1st to be playoff eligible.
