if I were the knicks I'd make this trade in heartbeat - i've given my thoughts on fredette in other threads, i think this move makes plenty of sense for us. low-risk/high-reward
And he will play like a 2nd rounder too.
If dude was as good as he played against the knicks , Sac-town would never had him getting splinters on the bench against other good teams. He ain't no Jeremy Lin
Beno for Jimmer
Make it happen
Beno to the Wiz, second to the Kings, Jimmer to NY
it makes so much sense it will never happen

if you do this would you then use THjr in a trade for Lowry? Keep Shump, add Jimmer, use THjr and parts to get Lowry. Move JR to the SL and bring Jimmer off the bench
He will come here and we will experience the Unidimension of Novak II:
"He needs to work on his bench press"
"He can't guard a corpse"
"He can't create his own shot"
Hey, if they said he was an NYC area native one more time during the Sac game, I was going to throw my radio in the toilet.
Would the Somber crowd complain about throwing away a second round pick?

absolutely down withat scenario, i think toronto might just bite too..
I like jr off the bench. He can create his own shot. I can't watch both Jr and Melo play together. Lowry would inspire shumpert. Also jr is a bonehead defensively. We need Shumperts perimeter D

why does shumpert need motivation? he's 23yo, he should have no problem playing nba basketball.. the excuses you come up for this guy is ridiculous.

I'd consider that if Melo had an extension in place... the only young asset that the Knicks have and will have next year would be THJ. I'm not about to proclaim that he's a lock to be a 10 time all star but giving him up for another guy w/o a contract makes me uneasy
I will say that
Lowry
Jimmer
JR
Melo
Chandler
actually sounds like an NBA team
I am not sure how Jimmer would do here. He would no doubt get many open shots. The same open shots that Shump and Felton bricks. The problem for me would be can he keep up the good shooting. Does he miss open shots in Sactown? I don't watch the Kings often.

No way to trading Tim. He is 1 or two summers away from becoming a Ray Allen type player. He just needs to put in work in the offseason.

No way I trade Hardaway for Lowry. I'd keep THJ this guy is will be one of the best three point shooters of all time by the time he is finished playing the game. His game will expand over time. I'm not sold on Lowry beside his new contract is almost guaranteed to never match his production. From this year.

You're out of your mind. Hardaway >>>Fredette

I like this. Makes sense. I don't want the Knicks to move Tim. I think the Knicks need to avoid getting fleeced in a Lowry trade. The guy is having a great year but he is a free agent, has struggled with coaches and has been injury prone.

Or Shump type. Never know.
