knicks1248 @ 2/20/2014 12:53 PM
j hamilton, another swing man who can't swing
gunsnewing @ 2/20/2014 12:53 PM
Official? Nice now we can blow by Indiana and dethrone the Heat
djsunyc @ 2/20/2014 12:55 PM
not official yet...but something this big couldn't be kept under wraps much longer.

I know people like to hate on Mills but is he really doing a bad job His whole approach seems to be different than the last few gms to give up added assets to get a player. So, far from the rumor mill he seems to set a hard line and does not cross it. I think that is a step into the right direction.

54 wins to 54 losses in one year.... hard to be ok with sitting back and doing nothing.

What does this mean for Ron Artest?

Waiting has value. what if the Bargs trade never happened or at least the 1st round pick was not used?

Absolutely. Fans just like getting giddy about this stuff only to complain later when we have no assets and picks to get us out of playing .300 basketball

2015 is the year. Stop with the panic. Haven't we've learned anything over the years?

Agree. Trading an older vet league mini guy for a young player isn't a bad move. Also, complying with a player's request to be traded is a goodwill move. Not sure why shump was on the court last night though.

I was going to say at least we got better defensively and not worse but reading up on this guy he will fit right in. Loves taking ill advised shots and can't defend because of below average lateral movement. Basically this trade is about pleasing Beno and getting him as far away from Woodson as possible. Denver, Colorado qualifies

They have videos on the kid. I have absolutely zero knowledge of him. From one vid I can see he punches like a girl tho.

Nobody can explain why Knjcks went so hard after Udrih as third pg but hear good things about Jordan Hamilton a former first rounder.

Not much of a perspective given here. I like the deal for us a lot.

Me too. Last year grunwald got the last pick in the second round. Getting this kid could be a steal.

What's not to like? We needed a SF and Beno was of no use to us. We got a young prospect that could be of use to us. It's up to Jordan now what he makes of this opportunity.
gunsnewing @ 2/20/2014 1:29 PM
Maybe now Shumpert can go back to his natural position and defend the perimeter but who knows with Woodson
fishmike @ 2/20/2014 1:29 PM
he can shoot and he can rebound pretty well. He's also a 3, and young... so if he's worth anything at all he could get some floor time. Nothing wrong with trading a guy who isnt playing for a young guy. Meanwhile Beno will play very well in Denver.

nbadraft.net had his player comparison as Cedric Ceballos. DX said his best case was Stephen Jackson and his worst case as a bigger Reggie Williams. I don't think he's going to be anything special but good to see that coming out of the NCAA people saw him as a rotation player. And as has already been mentioned, the Knicks needed a 3
