Dolan is ok with the Nyets revelling in mediocrity for 3yrs while the Knicks finally go about business the right way. Build a winning core
Make sense or am I drunk?
We have to improve just to get to mediocrity
I think Dolan is finally realizing that if the Knicks are going to overtake Brooklyn they need to go about things differently. Let Prokorov and King become the nba's new mindless spending fools
Over 200 million in payroll after luxury tax. Who cleans up if prokorhov loses interest
I think the Garden renovations has a lot to do with the spending factor.

I think you're drunk.
Dolan is a smart man and I give him props for caring but makes dump decisions. Prok is a rich man who don't listen just wants to spend money if the GM thinks its ok. I don't know who I rather have.

Both sck
Too much power for the GM on the Nets
Too much power for the owner on the Knicks
This season would have a different flavor if we traded for Lowry. The odds of us getting a better player than Lowry--for what he might cost the Knicks in 2015 is low. If Dolan listened to the basketball people--wed have Lowry. We still might after the season with some kind of S+T including 2018 pick 1 but that killed this season.
Dolan hired Steve Mills as our GM. Dolan is calling all the shots. This team is fucked until he gets a good front office in place with autonomy.

is he smart? And does he care?
There was a note in the paper that Dolan only seemed to travel with the team when they went to Memphis and New Orleans - inferring that he only went for the music/his interest in blues.
If he cared, I would expect him to travel with the team more.
If he were smart, he would have rebuilt through the draft a long time ago.
He's not smart, and I'm not sure he really cares.
I'm sorry. I know I haven't been behind the scenes - but any one of us could have done a better job as an owner of the Knicks than he has.
Prokorov is freaking blowing it the phuch up and out! This man is out of his mind!
He is Dolan on steroids with a giant Isiah dildo stuck up his ass making epic moves with reckless abandon!
I love it!
Hope they beat the snot out of Miami and Indy in the playoffs!
as for the knicks, at least they are not making stupid moves. Lowest common denominator. Very low.
where brooklyn at where brooklyn at
See alot of similarities. Saying either don't want to win is foolish. Both made (or signed off on) huge mortgage-the-future- bets, which, look ill advised. NYK overpaid for Amare, Melo, then go for Tyson - on paper, should have worked, but, obviously, has soured. The trade for the Boston crowd seemed rich at the time, and despite great records past 6 weeks, doubt they'll like the trade long term.

The Knicks have already made their stupid moves so to be fair they cant get much worse. I mean this year it would have been nice to have a top 10 picks in a loaded draft class
