It's going to be tough convincing any to sign here, but which players rumoured to be getting bought out would you like on the Knicks?
Ben Gordon is in talks to be bought out by the bobcats- I'd give him a shot, I think he's the kind of player who does best under the bright lights- used to be very clutch for the Bulls.
I'd take a flyer on granger
Also rumoured as a possible buy-out, Charlie Villanueva (no thanks!)
I'd bring Gordon in for sure. Might as well see what he's got. Won't cost much.
I wouldn't hold my breath on any impact waivers. First, we didn't bother to clear a spot, like say the Heat did. Would Gordon/Granger rather join the Heat/Spurs or Knicks? How ironic would it be as the Pacers improve with Turner, that Granger goes to the Heat/Spurs for a shot at his former team and a ring?
If the Knicks wanted to even make an outside run at any castoffs, they would have cleared space. They are most likely standing pat. Love it or hate it, these are your 2014 Knicks.

We can buy out MWP or/and Beno if we need to. Spurs/heat can't sign all the bought out players.
I have to think there is a wink/hand shake deal that does not get Granger to the Heat.
Granger wants to show he still has some in the tank and indy can't rely on his creaky knees to make a legit run.
Turner might be in line in the event Lance bolts and they can't resign him. ETurn is restricted So indy turned Granger into an asset and it just cost a low second rounder. Smart.
Turner if Lance leaves will get good money and be a rotational player for Indy. Smart.
Obviously Philly can do what they want to granger but I'd be suprised if bought out. Maybe Granger wanted out to improve his chances to get resigned and wanted to go to a scrub team and play 30 games, or elsewhere. Maybe He and INdy had an understanding he can go out west, but not east with the heat and they shook on it.
id bring in ben gordon and let him play pg. atleast he can shoot
