Ugh.. Thought it was Bobby Brown. Just go get some new PGs already! Beno is gone, replace him. Felton should be and probably will be demoted depending on his verdict. That leaves Prigo and Toure Murry. Play that fool already. Shannon is NOT a PG. If we roll with these dudes, our offense will rely waaaay too heavily on Melo and JR to create and facilitate.
What about that Lester Hudson? I saw reports of us showing interest. Can anyone drop some knowledge on him?

i vote for vasquez or patty mills. im all about getting younger cheap-under-the-radar talent. ive always liked perry jones. I like both clark (hope he stays) and shannon brown
I wish I had a voice with the Knick's origination, I believe I have an eye for talent, unfortunately, I have no experience, the voice (as an adviser) or the power to do so
In building a team, it requires a vision, along with plans, along with a philosophy, and recognizing VALUE whether in FA signings
The need to identify talent, with some patience, and the coaching/development STAFF that are all are on same page
Jimmer would be a nightmare for both Melo and Dolan. Could you imagine another scorer and fan favorite?
We all know how that worked out last time.
Shannon Brown is a nice role player. If you have a good point guard then Shannon makes sense as a starter or off the bench.
Only problem is we have thjr and jr Smith here so what's the point?
Jimmer should be here...
But in the grand scheme? We got better. Knicks need to fire the coach and look at developing this team for next year. Shannon Brown is a nice piece to have

At least we were winning games.

Jimmer is not a free agent yet and brown is only on a 10 day
Yep, signing him doesn't rule out us signing Bobby Brown or Fredette- he may just be a stop gap until those two are available. We've been interested in Shannon Brown for years- Walsh wanted to sign him years ago, but he went back to the Lakers instead.

That was years ago. Where does he fit on this team now? Why bring in a guy that most likely just sits? I mean even if they really are deluding themselves into thinking we still have a shot at the 8th seed -- how does Brown even help that cause?? We already have THJ who needs to play big mins the rest of the way, we're saddled with JR Smith who's making semi-big money, and Shump will be back in a week or so....The goals need to change now -- this team in not a playoff team this year. The goal should be to add as many talented young cost-effective pieces as we possibly can, audition them over the last 20-something games, and see who's worth signing to 2-4 year deals (those type of players might accept deals like that -- vets who come in and play well probably won't). Anything else to me makes no sense.
they signed him b/c his wife is friends with la la

Later on, La La visits Monica at a studio in New York while she’s recording new music. Monica’s husband, Phoenix Suns basketball player Shannon Brown, is also in town to play Melo and the Knicks. Monica suggests that they go to the game together, the same game La already invited Dice and Po to attend. Even though La knows they were excited, she tells Monica she’d love to go with her. Monica isn’t around a lot, and Po and Dice can always go to another game, right? La can only hope they’ll understand…oh, La, if only things were that simple.
