My guess is all adjustments came from Kidd and he ran the plays. Woody thought these guys could freestyle without him but we need a system.

When MDA was fired, Woodson also went on a crazy win streak (18-6?). Not saying Woodson is a great coach, but lets be realistic, he doesn't have much to work with either. Felton, JR and Shump have regressed badly. I'm on record as saying last years squad overachieved....This organization stinks from head to tail....

actually, I disagree. I think with the right roster woodson is a good coach. he has proved it before winning with rosters he shouldn't have won with. it just seems that this year there is too much adversity that he cant overcome. I do think he shouldn't be here either now and definitely next year. he wore out his welcome.
The talent on this team isn't very good but there is enough where a good coach gets them into the playoffs. I just don't think the team is being put in the best position to win games. There is to much switching on defense and to much stagnant play on offense and the results speak for themselves. Very little player/ball movement nothing easy.
Any argument defending Woodson because of personal problems is straight up retarded.

we cannot win playing how we're playing. We have big men. We have youth to run. We have shooters. We can play defense......but not with this coach. He puts us at a disadvantage from the start of games, he poorly manages the game and totally screws up crunch time game plans.

not only that bonn, but outside of tyson chandler( who has been beat up on this forum) who on our front line plays any defense.. Chandler missed over 20 games this year and that hurt...

this post I agree with.. last years team did overachieve.. kidd got off to a great start.. as a team we were shooting the three ball at an unsustainable rate, JR smith was playing probably the best ball of his career, then we got a boost here and there from guys like sheed.... people keep looking at last years team and that team is done, we are not the same team, and that team overachieved... we don't have much talent now, no leadership, no cohesion.. what we are seeing now is the end result..
