5pm.....
wish the knicks could have waived Kmart and priggy as well..... knicks need a Jimmer and another Young guy more than desperately trying to make the playoffs losing by 20 every damn night.
I wonder if they are counting on Bobby Brown? Jimmer would have been nice. They seem to really like Shannon. Not sure that they see much in Earl Clark. One of those guys, or KMart probably will be waived to make room for Brown. Also, Seth Curry continues to tear it up in the dleague./
Everyone needs to stop speculating on what the team will do. They haven't done anything right and every move comes out of no where. You can lay out all these suggestions to the Knicks via UK or any www media the Knicks brass thinks they know better than the fans because they got a job doing what you guys want to do.
Imagine this Jimmer is available you know he makes sense for this team. You put it on UK fearing that some Average Joe is going to get credit for a move for Jimmer they do something totally different and stupid. I truly believe this organization is built like this. Next time you make a suggestion think twice about how much sense you are make. And suggest something totally out if left field.

I think Chicago makes sense for Jimmer. He needs to learn to play d and will fit in nicely there. He might get more minutes for the Knicks but he might not. Also, agents maybe advising young guys that have options to stay away from the dysfunction in ny.

I think so to but NY has no PGs and he could of been a starter here. Yeah the dysfunction that is here doesn't help. I think the players and the vast media outlet can be intimidating and deter players away.

Yeah, but he can probably start for Chicago or at least play starter's minutes. With the injuries they've suffered Chicago's backcourt is in shambles and their offense is broken so if he can handle it he'll end up being the focal point of that offense. Honestly, if you put yourself in his shoes where would you want to go? Chicago has one of the best coaches in the league in Thibodeau who puts his players in the best position to succeed; if he has the talent he's going to play a ton for them; they're virtually guaranteed a playoff spot which will be a great platform to show off for other teams; and they're a great defensive team which will mask his biggest flaw. NY has one of the worst coaches in the league, one who doesn't set lineups based on talent or hard word but whoever is arbitrarily one of his guys; we have an owner who clearly treats people differently, players and management, based on whether or not they're repped by CAA; we're 21-38, currently 11th in one of the worst conferences in NBA history, and probably need to go at least 14-9 over our 23 to make the playoffs; and we're a terrible defensive team that would only magnify his flaws.
Oh, and the last time we had a PG come out of nowhere to save our season he was run out of town by our owner and two players that are still here.
He wanted to sign with the Knicks. It's been the same story with a Knicks over and over. If a move just makes too much sense, it won't happen. See Ron Artest, Lance Stephenson among others.
Serious question, no sarcasm intended
Does anyone think Jimmer can be as effective as Redick is one day?
or
Is he Novak in the PG/SG (not a real position but great shooter, though more skilled than Novak but smaller)
Redick just seems much more polished, even before joining LA, he blew up in Orlando, and has established himself as a PG/SG much better than Jimmer has
Although in all fairness, Jimmer hasn't been part of a winning franchise/culture yet, and he still has the time to improve
I see him as a good fit with Chicaco's system both on OFF and DEFENSIVE players capable of covering for him
Can he be better or even close to what Redick is now? Possibly but I don't think he has shown enough to say that he will produce as well as Redick has..
In my opinion, Jimmer needed to join a team that can make up for his inabilities, with good ball movement and utilizing picks on and off the ball, not a team full of inabilities similar to him, and use his ability to shoot to spread the floor like Novak *who was much more effective with Lin's ability to penetrate and Dantoni's system*
As good of a shooter he is, he just wouldn't fit in with the Knick's roster right now, but I wouldn't be against signing him (only if we would have a 2year deal vet min on him but that is unlikely) Shooters are needed in any system, I just don't see him having a huge impact with Woodson's coaching and our flawed roster
Going to the Bulls is good for him- he gets to learn defense, and in the meantime his teammates can help cover his shortcomings. Going to the Knicks is just a death sentence at this point.

One thing also that the Bulls do well is move without the ball. The ball carrier has an out if he doesn't have a good look, they don't stand around like statues. If Jimmer can do the same he should do well there.
