eh...why...because he couldn't possibly be better then Brown or Clark? Seriously WTF? Or even good enough to waive K Mart who can't stay healthy enough to play?
“We already made our moves with Shannon and Earl,’’ Woodson said. “Then [Jimmer] got released right after we made our moves. There really was no considerations there.’’
Knicks really have their collective heads up their ass. Really frustrating. Didn't watch the game this afternoon. I did look at the box score to see who played how many minutes and what they did with them. I'm shocked at how consistently bad some nameless people have played al damn season and they are still getting major minutes....and the losses keep piling up.
Berman wrote a second article with almost the same title. Agree about the front office dropping the ball here but Chicago is probably a better fit for Jimmer. The funny thing is there is an earlier thread in response to the first Berman article.
Just another case of premature ejaculation by the Knicks.
Jimmer is a free agent this summer. He can help a good team.
Is he a good fit here? Would he have helped us get to the playoffs?
Lets get real here fellas, Jimmer will be available this summer.

That's not the point. The point is Jimmer would signify a player with upside and can develop value on the cheap. You want players like that and I think he would have fit here nicely as a player who spreads the floor. I'm not loving the Brown pick up. I don't mind the Clark pick up. I have grown weary if journey men players. Need hungry young players to much catering to vets and that has been the Knicks philosophy since forever and it doesn't work.

He might be available, but then the Bulls kinda get first shot.
And as far as his fit here - granted, the Knicks are a soap opera, and I don't wish that on anyone - but the fact is he is better and younger than anyone we have as a PG candidate on the roster now.
I mean, Pablo is nearly 40. Felton may end up doing 40!
PG has been a problem all season. What are we watching and seeing that the Knick FO isn't? Or vice a versa?

LOL the 40-40 club.
And you can add JR - as I am sure Woodson would let him shoot 0 for 40 in a game if needed!

Wasn't he a FA after he was waived?
Why is this even a question?
Go to the Bulls who will make the playoffs and only have 2 PGs on their roster or go to the Knicks who are a hot mess with 3 PGs on their roster?

It's not a question of what Jimmer did, it's more an indictment of what we didn't do. It's not like the roster was so improved by adding Brown and Clark that we wouldn't continue to look at available players. Never on Knicks radar? Since when does a team that is a hot mess stand pat? PG is a position that with just the slightest of improvement in efficiency ould lead to more wins. Not even inquiring about an available PG who was vocal about wanting to be drafted by the Knicks. We need a new f*cking radar man

Jimmer made mention of the fact that he liked how hard the Bulls played.
I doubt we figured that he was too smart to come here - our FO is a disaster.
But whether or not the Bulls are going to make the play offs, Martin, the fact is that he could (with a real coach/more stable environment) probably get more playing time here with the three PGs we have (don't know I would call any of them PGs, but whatever!) vs. Chicago. That, closer to home, bigger stage, etc.
I thought the Mitches here was "play Murry more!!!"
Jimmer is the kind of player you get to fill a need for a playoff push. We should be selling.
Too bad Jimmer didn't land on the Knicks. I never thought of him as head case before but, based on " . . . playing for the Knicks would be a lot of fun...", he would have fit right in.
