the team will fail no matter what.
dolan is the worst owner in sports and will not change.
there is no light at the end of the tunnel.
you're all grown men/women. there is no such thing as "bleed orange and blue" anymore.
why subject yourself to this? why not just quit the franchise? it can be done. i'm living proof.
because then we couldn't watch tkf/bonn/dk7/others battle fish over stupid shit. duh.
Because we do bleed orange and blue and waiting for this to happen at MSG with Melo , YOU GOT THAT!
That's Nalod on ya right watching the knicks on cheat TV.
Ha, maybe you need to ask yourself that
I'm slowly becoming a Brooklyn Net fan. But its not something rational, and its not something you can just switch on or switch off.
If someone could show me a site equivalent to UK, but for another team, I would slowly start considering a transition...
You're worse than a jehovah's witness, keep coming back to convince people to defect like you have.
but I'm not sure I can root for a team that doesn't have a lot of drama... I just think I don't know how
Come over to raptors basketball, we have cookies and maple syrup, eh?
DJ, for some of us its the emotional link we had as kids. WE did not choose this. As you know its my link to the Legacy 70's team.
For others, Ewing is god and Oak is a prophet.
Nets even with my ABA history with them does not do it for me. Joe Johnson looks asleep half the time and I can never give my soul to Pierce and Garnet. But i'd cheer them on for a playoff run. Better them than Miami or indy!!! NY first.
I've lived in the Carolinas for 25 years and the Hornets/Bobcats/Hornets do nothing for me. In fact I could not stand Mourning and LJ in Charlotte.
I don't know why I stick around here. its my only place I chat and perhaps playa as the village idiot educates me to a slice of Americana I would not normally come across.
Toronto? They couldn't even tank properly!!!!
I wish Marv would come back, I miss his contribution.
I should leave, its really a waste of time.

Sounds like going to one abused relationship, to another.

I guess I like my fandom sprinkled with a littled hate and a dash of disgust
Are you kidding? Interest may wane a little but I can't imagine rooting for another team.
This team is great... not some boring Spurs or Indiana.
We have Drama!!! What they have? Winning bbal? Who cares?
To be a fun one does not need to know a lick about the game.
Just discuss JR and Felt upticks, Melodrama, and other funny dudes at MSG.
Clyde and all this funny bloggers... nothing is better...

I can't say being a Knick fan made me this way. More like me being this way made me right for Knicks fandom. I used to think about it more, but you reach a certain age you know who you are. Now I live in a little room, out in the country behind a bar, work four nights a week, and in between I drink. And there ain't nobody there to stop me. I know who I am. And after all these years, there's a victory in that.

Hah yeah. Couldn't think of anything more fitting to quote from.
