Before Indiana game in front of the Garden 6pm
Brandon Jennings, monte Ellis, Eric Gordon or josh smith. Welcome to the Garden and congrats on your max deals to become melo's running mate for Amare and bargnani's expiring contracts. Gotta get these fans giddy again!!
Heard one of the organizers on Stephen A. Wasn't a particularly impressive representative, so hope they step up their plan of attack and what the purpose of it.
Part of me would want to go. Another part of me would be ashamed that with all the issues and real atrocities in the world, this would be something I'd actually join a public protest for this foolishness.
Yea give Stephen A and that caller Brandon Jennings and they will be doing handstands
MINNEAPOLIS — A rally to protest Knicks owner James Dolan’s handling of the sinking franchise is on tap for March 19 in front of the Garden before the team hosts the Pacers.
The organizers of the “KF4L Rally” are promoting the rally via social media which has its own Facebook page. The KF4L stands for “Knicks Fan for Life.’’Knicks fans Michael Brown, who has staged demonstrations in the past, Anthony Samaroo, a Chicago-based Knicks fan, and Mark Griffin are the rally’s promoters.
In a statement, the organizers wrote the rally is being staged because of “Dolan’s failure to allow knowledgeable basketball people the autonomy/power to make basketball related decisions…His insistence on overriding the opinions of his basketball people by bidding against himself in negotiations and overpaying in trades.’’
The statement also took issue with “the rehiring of Steve Mills who has never been in the GM role before and presided over one of the most embarrassing eras in Knick history.’’
It went on to add Mills “has yet to speak to the media or fans about the state of the team since he came back. The fans deserve explanations.’’
In conclusion, the statement read: “We understand Dolan will not sell. We understand change may not come of this. We just want our voices heard. We want to remind Dolan and the NBA that our voices matter. We buy the tickets, the jerseys, the NBA League Pass subscriptions. We are frustrated. We are tired. We deserve better.’’

March 19th it's bout to turn into Syria in midtown.
Was this organized by BRIGGS?
I'd fear for my safety at this rally
This is only going to piss Dolan off and fuel is next stupid move. How can he go about sabotaging the fan base now for embarrassing him
If anything Mills should be commended for not making the Knicks usual panic trade at the deadline...Or trading Shump for a low bid...I hope this is a sign of things to come...

He couldn't figure out how to clear the jam in the fax machine
About time....Somebody actually putting their words into action. Thats what I'm talking about. If it hurts you that much, and you're a real knick fan, then rally your but off. Will I be there? Hell no....it's too damn cold and far (3hrs from Bmore). But this is better than the 10 plus years of angry posters attacking a keyboard. Stand up and do something.
The only fall back from this is what message does this send to Melo and other potential FA's. What happens if we go on a winning streak, with a slim chance to make the playoffs....Do they just call this rally off? Just having this go viral on the World Wide Web is a message within itself.

blkexec - If the Knicks front office had any courage, they would send Steve Mills to meet the crowd, and take questions, right on the Seventh Avenue sidewalk in front of The Garden.
THAT would make the evening news.

You mean if Mills went out on 7th ave he would have to have on riot gear with a blow horn with a police escort.
Sounds like a waste of time to me. I am pretty sure a very similar thing occurred when they fans created a giant petition to sign, outside the garden.
The fact that there are much greater things to protest in this world makes this look pretty bad too.
What fans are ignorantly failing to realize is that if they stop f'ing going to the games and make that arena empty, Dolan will feel the impact far more than any sized protest. This is comic relief to him and somewhat offensive to me.
It seems the Knicks fans in other parts of the country are more engaged and informed from afar than the fans that fill the Garden. Excluding the online community

+1

Priceless.
So maybe everyone at the rally logs into the UK and posts "Dolan Sux" threads and holds their smartphones up at MSG like a bunch of dickheads at a Lynyrd Skynrd concert... 'Freebird!!!'
Don't forget to click on an ad banner!
Occupy Dolan. Hopefully, there will be hot chicks and tents!
