He kind of reminds me of Wilson Chandler. Chandler didn't really impress anyone until his workouts with Isiah. Most sites don't project Melvin getting drafted. Best case scenario is that Melvin doesn't get drafted, we invite him up and exceeds expectations.

I agree. But I think the Bayhawks/Knicks affiliation may have ended badly. Trading Leslie and to a lesser extent waiving Chris makes me wonder if those weren't moves made because the relationship is between erie and ny is ending.

True, but we still have enough time to monitor his development and see if he's worth anything.
