Knicks · And...still hate Tyson chandler (page 1)

What a cry baby... He brings the whole team down with that pissy bitch attitude. It was like he was mad stat got more touches... Unleash jt4

Agreed, Tyson, did have an OK game, grabbed the boards like he always does but he doesn't need to cost us unnecessary points. Jeremy Tyler, I'm telling you, if we had a young coach or an experienced one who doesn't play old school basketball, he could learn a few things along with THJ and become really good ball players.

Agreed we have a gem in Tyler!

Didn't care for Chandler's halftime comment about K-Love at all. Anyone catch that? What did he say again? Something like, "go right at him. He don't play no defense." Is he kidding me? First off, the man's 100x the player you are buddy -- just pipe the F down and play. Second, who's this guy ever "going right at"? Did he go right at Roy Hibbert in the playoffs last year? No, Hibbert ate him for breakfast every game...When did we ever see Chandler go right after anyone when it counted?? Chandler's damn lucky Love had an off night, probably didn't hear that comment and didn't have the chance to use it as motivation. Joke. LMAO.

I want to say that Love and Chandler are buddies off the court and it was a friendly swipe.

I thought pulling Amare for Tyson was going to cost Woody last night. Amare and Melo had it going nicely, and Amare guards big plodding centers quite well. Petrovic had a good game in the box score but if you watched Amare's defense on him was pretty good. He also blocked a few shots and altered some others. Turned out ok.

Tyson is an ok player. His offensive skill set is so limited so he gets hurt more than most with the poor guard play.. you might use the work exposed. Last night Felton had his good one in five games

Oh, OK. Nothing there then. If not, you just don't say something like that. He should know better..

Yea they were both olympians

cannot believe Tyson was an Olympians. At least they were smart to keep him off the court.

His zero offense and phantom picks would not work against those euro's.

BRIGGS @ 3/6/2014 7:17 PM
Tyson has been rebounding the ball very well. Last night he played very well. Hes worth a pick between 8-20 and no less--some team--maybe the Bobcats who are starting to get farther along might be interested in him for their pick.

probably 15ish in this deep draft if he ends the season healthy. I wish that we could just sit him to protect his health.

Maybe we can trade him to Denver for OUR PICK!

Do you give him credit when he plays well? He's been a 12 point, 17 rebound player lately
gunsnewing @ 3/8/2014 8:06 AM
Tooittle too late. Where was he the previous 60games or so?

He seems much more engaged when he is on the court. Interesting that it came after he was criticized on national tv by hubie and bill Simmons.

Well he still averaged something like 11 and 11 in games where he played at least 25 min.
I'm not saying he was a star in that stretch but people act here like we can replace him just with a pick around 25.

That's a fair criticism. On a contending team, I think he'd always be motivated. On a .350 team, he sometimes acts like he feels (or realizes) the games are pointless.

I don't buy that excuse of being on a bad team so why put forth effort. There was enough time in the year when he came back that the Knicks didn't have to be a .350 team if he was more motivated. How about concentrating at the free throw line and stop throwing tantrums.

---------------

Also, if anyone have seen Love's comments on what Tyson said I doubt that you would think they are friends. Maybe he was kidding around when he said it but to read the quotes, they do not have a friendly tone.

Eh, it's not that important. He wasn't playing like a star but he was still putting up a good number of points and rebounds and the team was playing better with him on than off the court.
