i hope it's a legit reason, tyson has been running his mouth for a while and it's crunchtime now..
Bonn1997 @ 3/10/2014 4:16 PM
On espn it says "due to an urgent personal matter"
According to Yellowboy, this should help the team anyway
SwishAndDish13 @ 3/10/2014 4:18 PM
I assumed he was out with a common cold.

I wouldn't wish harm on the guys family, but I really hope he at least has an excuse that would be considered acceptable at most other jobs in the world.

Ughhh. and I only say that because we finally had a starting line up that was working well together. So here we go back to a small lineup which hasn't worked all season. I would rather see them stay big and insert Cole or Tyler, but Woody is never going to do that.
EnySpree @ 3/10/2014 5:04 PM

Tyson got fmla for his vagina

If Cole starts tonight, and gets big minutes, he is going to show that we don't need T.Chandler.

He's played like 10 min all season. I'm guessing they'll start Amare at center.

I think you're right.

I still remember C.Aldrich from his Kansas years and still believe he can play major minutes at this level. Plays on both ends, big, strong, agile and doesn't need the rock to be effective.

Seriously, although he's been playing a lot better of late so I gotta give him some credit. Why it took so long for Tyson and all of these guys to start playing for real and to finally start gelling is baffling...As a Knick fan, it's irritating to be quite honest.

When did I ever say this? I critique Tyson I don't dismiss him.

Honestly, this is how I would go -- I'd elevate Cole right into that starting 5 spot tonight, alongside Melo and STAT up front. Attempt to keep the same synergy as we've seen the past few games, as if Tyson were there -- Cole can rebound and defend inside. Very similar to Chandler as a player when you think about what each guy brings to the table. With Amar'e in the starting lineup now, he could use that dirty work/lunch pail-type next to him. Melo too.

"You see how guys from CAA are treated differently," the player said. "How they get away with saying certain things to coaches. How coaches talk to them differently than they talk to the other guys. It's a problem."

not saying it was Chandler, but maybe it was Chandler

Papabear Says

Be real. I've seen Cole play.

I might be mistaken but I thought you posted the team's winning percentages with and without him and used that as a criticism of him
ToddTT @ 3/10/2014 6:32 PM
Hope it's nothing too serious.

f@cking Shumpert back in the starting line up. Whhhhhhhhhhyyyyyyyyyyyy???? How does that replace Chandler's rebounding? Woodson has to go.
