What should the team be called?

D-League expands to 18 teams

NEW YORK -- The NBA Development League has added a team in the New York suburb of White Plains that will be owned and operated by the Knicks.

The team will conduct a fan vote to help choose the name of the new D-League club. It will play 24 regular-season games at the County Center.

How about the White Plains T's

Named after the deli, a few blocks away on Russell Street, with the bocce court out front and the best Italian wedges this side of manhattan. A neighborhood landmark.

The White Plains Varvaros

White Plains Westchesters is my pick for a name. ... call them the "chesters" for short

HAHAHA! This is the best name suggestion by far! Also convenient because if they are short on players they can always scoop up somebody for $20 at Varvaros.
