Ive been on this forum for a while and this Forum is starting to change. For me it's not for the best. Seems every thread wound up being a I hate Melo thread. It's getting worst every day. I started looking at other forums and view what they post. I don't post there. I have tickets for 2 more games this season and I plan to enjoy myself. I don't mind a good debate about the Knicks but when sickos post crazy things over and over about one player. And go to other threads and do the same thing and no one is doing anything about it I start to question the motives of the forum. Maybe I don't belong here because the hate goes beyond the game of basketball. Over and over again and again. We now have a new poster well not new but all of a sudden here he is back again being a poster boy for you know who. This personal hate of Melo needs to be address. I think everyone knows what I'm talking about. I come here for enjoyment but lately every damn thread wounds up being about how much they hate Melo. Melo will be the face of the Knicks for a long long time. I notice that some of the fair minded posters are posting less. Maybe it's time to move on and let them others take over the forum. Maybe! only time will tell.

There will always be different opinions, it won't change, just ignore the Melo discussions
Like you said, if everyone agreed with everyone here we would have no discussions

I try my best to be rational about Melo, be fair about it, and I think he can be a piece to the puzzle however, he takes a pay cut in 2015 so we can actually surround him with the talent needed to compete in a HIGH LEVEL
I just don't think giving him a max extension at his age is a smart decision with all the holes we need to address with our lack of future draft picks, with the new CBA cap/rules, and the other teams that have a great foundation in addition to future draft picks and ability to continue to improve

Hopefully Melo sees that and stays on the team, if not lets hope we can get something back in a sign and trade so we can continue to improve with Phil Jackson leading the way instead of Dolan calling the shots

Papa, Maybe other sites are more enjoyable as a Melo love site but I think things are pretty objective here. Basically teams that are not up to expectation will have its fans looking for blame and it usually starts with the Star. Last year Melo got lots of praise and chants early by fans of "MVP". He has shown ability to carry the team for weeks at a time, but he is not Durant or Lebron that can do it for a season and for most of a playoff run.

YOu really have perhaps a half a dozen "Melo haters" and for me I just ignore many posts as its the same arguement over and over. I also don't read trade proposals, Draft sleeper threads, and many posters who come out with redundant statements. To that degree Im sure Im on others "ignore list" as well.

Perhaps an "Ultimate Melo" site might work for some better but thats not objective.

I do hear you about enjoyment. I did my vow of Lent to really just take a break as I too found it not much entertainment value here as the season slipped away and the thought of tanking without a pick and Melo perhaps leaving as very depressing.

With My savior PhilJax as the headline it broke my vow as this is big news.

Your really one of the few that attend games so I can undrstand your objection to the negative. Many of us are out of town and dont get to many games. I don't even watch that many of the games anymore because they are not fun to watch.

As far as melo goes, I am long on record as the team sold him heavy to fans as the savior and it perhaps is just one reason for the backlash. I hated the trade but in my view Melo has lived up to his end of the bargain but the team has not been able to fulfill its stated goal of being a true contender. Why? Thats been covered for years and its reasons differ by opinion.

Papa, we enjoy your contributions but most of all you have to enjoy the site and your time on it. Stay loose!

This season was a disaster and a wash. Now guys are playing great, winning games and the drama isnt bad its good. With Phil here the expectation is winning. Go win. Instead of watching and enjoying these donkees want to complain Melo didnt pass enough. Hee-haw. Tells you what you need to know.

Totally! few things weight heavier on my mind. Right now Im searching other forums all over the world to ensure everyone knows the truth. This is my crusade. My life finally has purpose. Boobies alone were not enough.

Is it not aprospos that the person who leads the charge against Melo was tossed from a forum he was once a mod of because he just couldnt help himself? I thought folks would appreciate the context when they read his posts. If it makes you uncomfortable I can remove it...

Cole was very effecient. Its clear he should shoot it 80x a game. Metrics prove this. Cant argue numbers

We've only got another 2 months of it to put up with- the Melo either gets traded or re-signs with us long term (at which point I think the melo haters will quit the boards)

I don't have a problem with people critiquing Melo, but I get a bit bored when it's the same point over and over and over again- it's like being stuck in a rut. At some point you have to accept you've made your case, and move on to another subject
