The steals being a detriment was from Clyde Frazier saying that he gambled too much and lost and that hurt his team defensively.

Leading the league in anything is great if its done efficiently. Jacking up 27 shots to lead the league in scoring at 31 per is horrible (Iverson). I would rather Melo not ever lead the league in scoring and shoot 47pct and average 5 assists.

I don't care how many times Iverson was All NBA, that does not change anything, people are obviously misinformed and bad GM's.

Again, a horribly empty argument/statement with lots of chest pumping. Neither of them were/top 5 players. Melo in my bood is 10-15 but he could be closer to top 5 if he made those adjustments.

Please read the Wages of Wins article about Iverson before responding. Funny but there is also an article in there that talks about how Iverson and Melo were a horrible pairing. And, when billups replaced him, they did much better.

Iverson great player poor business man. He is now broke. I bet one thing when Melo retires he will retire as one the the most financially secured NBA players in history. Iverson had loads of talent but he could have been better. He traveled with his home boys and gave them money now he is broke. A sad story.

Bonn a couple of weeks ago I made a promise after an apology to back off what he said. I thought that he would be more committed to an honest debate but his hate seem to have gotten worse. This seem to make me think that the apology was a fake. His hate for Melo goes far beyond sports. And sooner or later this must be addressed.

To be fair I think people should be more neutral in regards to melo. Yes there are some who hate on melo BUT there are some who also are never critical of him.

Wanting what's best for the organization is not being critical of Melo

It's a fact that he is older and it would be wise not to max him out
