Isola did an article blasting Phil for hiding and staying silent etc.
On Tuesday, Jackson wasn’t granting interviews inside Staples Center, and considering Dolan’s suffocating media policy and total disregard for the press in general, the Zen Master’s silence makes him the early favorite to win Employee of the Month after one week on the job.The word from the Knicks was that Jackson, just seven days after promising a more professional working relationship with the media, wasn’t talking. He is, however, doing a lot of avoiding.
Jackson skillfully eluded the press

Problem is the Times had a load of quotes, because like proper journalists they worked out his exit route and asked him some questions while he signed autographs! Need to brush up on the old journalism skills, Isola!
“It was awful, huh,”
“Fifty-one points,” Jackson, in a dark blue suit and a striped tie, said as he arched his eyebrows. “When it’s 35 points you start to get worried. When it’s a 51-point quarter, that’s really awful.”
“We’re in a talent hunt,” Jackson said. “We have to bring in talent.”

Isola is on the list.
when your on the list, your out.
absurd cheap shots by Isola. Makes Isola sound petty and small. Isola, and the DN, wonders why the Garden openly avoided calling on them in the press conference.
I despise their style of "journalism"
I dont need fluff.. but tell me something I dont know. Anything interesting.

Well unfornately he will be all over espn radio spewing that garbage and the rest of the media will eat it up and make a big deal out of nothing. The spin wi be Jackson doesn't talk to the media and next thing you know they will be calling for his head

He sounds that way because he is an asshole, just an unhappy person. And no, putting a negative spin on every morsel of news that manages to make it to your ears is not "objective journalism", it's trash. I don't mind reporters that cover the Knicks that are tough but fair like Howard Beck, because they understand not every single thing that happens related to the Knicks is some awful tragedy. In order to criticize dolan's trolling way isola became a troll himself.
Isola has always been a terrible journalist but even moreso now that he's putting in regular face time at ESPN
At least Isola hates the Knicks. Good quality to have in NYC.
Hopefully he's positioning himself for a key position at ESPN.
