Knicks · Next Knick Coach... (page 1)

OK...season is over and needless to say, Woodson won't be here next year so anyone have any ideas on who our next coach will be. Heard some rumors that Steve Kerr was interested in coaching and Phil might be interested. I know Ewing is interested in being a HC but I don't think that would be a good idea. We don't need 2 legendary Knicks at these levels...could lead to a power struggle and bad chemistry at the top.

We have no ideas.

Nate McMillan last appeared in the Team USA staff. He's had a good coaching record with experience working with two different rosters with Seattle and Portland. They were a three point shooting team in Seattle and he was a grind it out guy in portland. I think he would be receptive to Phil's influence. He also plays guys who defend and bench those that don't

Loved Buechler as a Net. I hated everyone on the Bulls so once he went there I stopped following him.

Derek Fisher is my guy. He's smart and commands respect.

lmao. i think he'd be good though. dude is smart. but something tells me he has no interest in coaching.

This is my thinking as well. I think Phil will give a young coach his first chance like how he got his chance with the Bulls.

I am beginnning to agree. Plus you will have 2 Action Jacksons in the team. Would be kinda weird.

I think Phil will wait until after the season to get rid of Woody but it might just send a message to the fans if he relieves him now to let us know better times are coming.

There's less than 10 games left in the season. They should've put in an interim coach at the all star break. It really doesn't matter because Phil is going to blow it up and hire his own coach
