This guy had me laughing hysterically.
Fatty fat fat the gunman?
"see that crease behind woodson's head? That's where the brain goes"

and to be fair, he killed Melo 4th quarter shot selection too. Aside from being funny, this guys knows his sh1t too.
I seriously wonder if some people watch any other NBA games. Felton has been the easy scapegoat for this team's defense and his weight just makes it even easier to blame him. My God some people are lost with pick and roll basketball and how it works.

so he is getting unjust criticism? Can you name another PG that is even close to as bad as he is?
Woody gets blame too with how he leaves felton on an island to drown. Can he trap? Show? Anything?
Every team know how vulnerable Felton and the knicks are with PnR. I was shocked that Mike Malone didn't many PnR's against them.

Woody doesn't make any adjustments. We've been running this same defense for 2 years. Last year the only difference was some of the vets like Kidd directed the defense and brought some weak side help.
They have been going on about "guarding their own man" and not relying on help which doesn't work. Every good defense plays on a string. No good defense plays the pick and roll like we do and that's why teams are exploiting it.

There's a video explaining some of the basics because some people just fail to recognize them. Almost all our bigs(including Tyson, good help defender my ass) sit back near the free throw line and you wonder why PG's get easy mid range J's, layups, and fouls? It usually ends up in a switch because Felton has zero time to recover without leaving the roll man wide open and no weak side defender coming down. A mismatch is better than giving up a layup.
Felton has been garbage(particularly on offense)but the bulk of other teams scoring has come from poor team defense, particularly all our 4's and 5's. The only difference between Ray and Prigs is Pablo is a bit smarter. He'll go under the screen if its way out beyond the 3 point line or he'll occasionally try to force it down/away from the middle but the help is sometimes spotty.
So many people expect Fatty to fight over these screens with perfection and not lose a step on his man which just doesn't happen in the league with the majority of the players. The bigs need to get up there and take a good angle to allow the guard time to recover. Plain and simple. Even Gordon Hayward was killing us with the pick and roll. It just doesn't matter whether it's Felton, Pablo, JR, Shump, etc when they get no help.
1) Good god Felton sucks
2) Melo not passing to Amare on that last play is friggin shameful
3) How can a coach sit there and watch the same thing happen so many times without attempt to make an adjustment?

They ran the same play damn near the entire 4th qtr, did you see even one adjustment..
Like I said we've barely adjusted these past 2 years. Even when we do help it's from all the wrong places. I don't pretend that this is a really talented roster but we get out coached every game.

unfuckinreal
Melo's entire 4th quarter shot selection was nauseating
