Just reiterated my belief that making the playoffs by default is not in our best interests as in Atlanta loses the rest of their games etc. I don't know. This team stinks. It's not a good team and it will not be an easy fix. The eastern conference has to get better and we have a lot of work to do. Phil Jackson will be on the clock right away. And in any scenario Woodson is done

next season we need to just focus exclusively on establishing a new culture and system, and finding/ obtaining and developing cheap role players who work hard and can play in that system.
Then use our high draft pick and FA to get some talent to complement it.

^^ This. Reboot time. Woody's done. Ditto for much of this team.
THjr needs to stay. Gotta keep one of our own.
I really feel for anyone who wasted 2.5 hours watching that garbage last night when there were was much better ball watch w/ all the tourney games.
Seeing Tyson in his "no help", "Ouch my elbow" zone and Felton playing like Felton was enough to prompt the channel change.
Never looked forward to the season ending this much (including Layden and Isaiah years).
i definitely didn't watch it i just skipped over it let's go 2015!!

More time for squats!
The Knicks should miss the playoffs last thing these players need and the organization needs is a false sense of accomplishment. That is exactly what is going to happen if the Knicks make the playoffs.
Phil Jackson might be to smart. He may know that this team needs a gut job from top to bottom.

Yeah it's what I think. We all know that if the Knicks back into the playoffs the organization will think next years these current bums will turn it around and come back with a similar squad.
ive been saying this for months...the only reason to make the playoffs is so that denver doesnt get a lottery pick. and make us look even more foolish. other than that..i can care less about sneaking into the playoffs

whats the diff between the last pick in the lotto and the first pick after the lotto?

Not much, but every team in the lottery has a chance at a top-3 pick. If we gave Denver pick 13 or 14 in this draft, it would be a loss but not a huge one. If we gave them a top-3 pick, that is a big blow. Either way, making the playoffs eliminates that chance. Also, I think guys like THjr would benefit from playing in a playoff series.
it's all about not letting denver get in the lottery. that's it. for spite.

Yeah and it does make the spring more fun.
Yeah, lets root for not making the playoffs! Yeah! Makes sense!
Why prolong the agony?
Why not forfeit the rest of the regular season! Develop some yoots! Bring back Chris Smith! Maybe all great free agents are just dying to have PJax sign their paychecks! Blow it up now!
And who seriously GAF about Denver?
part of me doesnt give a sht weather we make the playoffs, and another part of me would like to see a knicks up set miami or indi in the 1st rnd.
The knicks clearly have the talent to beat any team in the league, but lack the smarts to beat anyone on any given night
I watch basketball to see MY team win games. True, there a been a few stinkers this year, and to be honest, some of the games were mind boggling, but I would love nothing better than to see the Knicks
bust the Heat or the Pacers' a**es!

+1 THIS.
You have re-established my faith that humanity can be saved.
Me too. That's why this year sucks. Hovering around 13games under .500
