Knicks · End of the year awards (page 1)

Here are mine:

MVP

Lebron James - I know Durant is going to win but as far as I'm concerned this should be Lebron's award until he retires.

DPoY

Joakim Noah - No contest. He should've won it last year and he will win it this year. He'll get some MVP votes as well for carrying a Bulls team that had every reason to quit.

ROY

MCW, I guess? - This has been a terrible rookie class and I'd prefer not to give it to anyone. It kind of feels like the year Mike Miller won; let's just move on.

MIP

Goran Dragic - Again, no contest. Nobody thought Phoenix was going to win more than 30 games this season. Instead, Dragic has led the Suns to 45+ wins and a possible playoff spot in a brutally tough West while putting up the best season of his career with career bests in PPG, FG%, 2P%, 3P%, RPG, TO, TS%, eFG%, FTr, TO%, ORtg, WS, and WS/48.

COY

Jeff Hornacek - Nobody thought Phoenix was going to win more than 30 games this season. Instead, Dragic Hornacek has led the Suns to 45+ wins and a possible playoff spot in a brutally tough West. Dwane Casey and Tom Thibodeau are going to get some votes too but this should be Hornacek's to lose.

So, who ya got?

Good list. If Horny does not win COY it would be a crime.

James is the MVP every year, agreed but yeah, Durant will get it just to spread the wealth.

Noah has been as crucial to his team in every way as anybody this year. And, he is doing it with brains and heart and not crazy talent.
