The knicks are 30th in the league in FT attempts and Melo gets to the line.

See a problem here? Our guards cannot penetrate nor can they shoot.

awwffulll....Melo you are not that hurt.,. show the F*ck up...HArdaway...Is pathetic IQ on Defense....Give Stat the dang ball more!!!!!...rediculous...im am so happy we dont play until friday.....Atlanta will lose everygame this week....but we struggle so hard so we might cancel ourselves out!!! Smith and Jennings - LMFAO

This is why fans would make great GM's.

The ball movement was great in the first half. The ball was whipping around, no one holding on to the rock for very long. The defense was also very energetic. They came out for the second half playing like they knew they couldn't do it for another half. The ball movement was there for the most part, but most of them held onto the ball too long. Lazy passes were made, turnovers.

The Heat were able to throw a bunch of big bodies at us off the bench and all we had was Stat. Stat has been playing great but he had a lot on his plate to deal with today. Its the drawback of having a small rotation. Wouldn't have minded Tyler and Aldrich giving our bigs more of a breather and provide more energy off the bench.

Decisive is the word I would use to describe Shump's play as of late. He was a catalyst at times for the offense and defense, and pushed the tempo, even in a half court set. I hope Smith's 3 point shooting blitz will garner some interests from GMs who might feel that he could be the missing piece to a contender. Woodson had to play Smith more because of his recent improvement, but it also means less minutes for THJ and he needs the seasoning.

Our guards were 20-55. Awful. That and Melo having his shooting/shoulder issues ain't gonna win games.

Shumpert missed a HUGE wide open 3 off a pass from melo late in the fourth that could have cut it to 1. Can he ever hit a clutch shot? Ugh! He is a good defender and will hopefully make a nice piece for a team that has highly efficient guards.

When has been the last time that our guards shot better than 45 percent from the floor for a few games?

Knicks pull the ol' bannana in the tail pipe trick again. I've got to stop falling for it.

I hope you're all having a good year and your personal lives are rich and surrounded by your loved ones. I also foresee a Knicktory. If I'm right there's no need to be wrong. Who's with me?

Prediction failed,
we all can drink up now!

Atlanta is destroying Indiana. The great Knick farce of 2013-2014 is officially over.

well he has been awful... so either he is that hurt or he has flat out sucked.... which is it?

Apparently Melo's bad shoulder makes his legs unable to run back on defense.

I don't know, do you?

What I think was that he was hurt but if thats the case, he should not be taking 17 shots.

I will not use fuzzy logic to conclude anything.

Melo is documented as being hurt currently yet still keeps shooting, just like he was last year, and the year before that.

He might just be dumb.

well try using some logic at all..

carmelo has been pretty bad of late... so either he is just flat out sucking... or maybe he is hurt to the point he should not be on the court... I don't think he is hurt that bad... I have other thoughts... but asking a poster if he examined carmelo is a bit ridiculous, especially if you don't feel these performances are typical of the kind of play he has been giving the knicks... the poster obviously feels something is wrong, and just sucking isn't one of them.. the possibility of him being "that hurt" is somewhat real...

true..

he might, he might be that dumb, just flat out sucking or really hurt... but all of them are possibilities, especially since his injury has been documented...

I tried using logic with you a number of times but with you I am knocking on a rock.

team wins, player x is on the team and their best player (supposedly - facts/stats not included or deprecated ones), therefore, player x is better than player y who is the best player on his team that has not won.

Fuzzy logic.

I am no carmelo fan but I like to be open minded about him too instead of being blinded by a vendetta.

Post some numbers sometimes. Do some research and come up with some interesting insights. Don't just blab all the time - its a bit old and quite boring.

I think that Melo is gone next year but it would be funny if Jax gave him a stupid contract just to see you guys bitch and moan (NOT REALLY).

I always get the impression Amar'e hates JR- his latest comments just confirm that. He's been calling him out all season.
