Dude, you suck.
Your weak self-esteem robbed us of 13 billion dollars, three starting fives and four young bangers that we could've cultivated.
Go eat donuts in Chicago, YOU'LL NEVER WIN NOTHIN, BRO!!!

Yeah! 'Cause we all know the Knicks were all about cultivating young players at the time.

no thought into this post at all
actually I appreciate this post - but not sure how the op was intended.
Melo is, I think, a divisive talent. On the one hand, over rated, on the other, under appreciated.
If he leaves (or stays), he is probably not winning anything.
But I think like when so many wished for KT to leave during his first stint - where folks saw addition by subtraction (surely we can do better than KT), the reality is Melo has, with all his flaws, performed amazingly here. Maybe he's not a winner, maybe he simply needs help- but he has put together an outstanding year, improved his rebounding, played some inspired defense at times and I think, really tried hard - and I don't know if people here truly appreciate this aspect of Melo's season this year.
Yes, he probably shot a hole in the boat at the beginning of the year with "I'm going to test free agency"- but he never really quit.

We learned what Melo's new salary is too! Probably slightly less than JROD thinks he's worth.

:) It was just in jest
Don't laugh, Jimmie has me busy printing money for Melo right now. I've been told to get the pile up to a trillion dollars before the June draft when the Nuggets, according to BONN and his acoloytes, will obviously draft Lebron 2.
Is this post really comparing Krazy Eyes to Melo? That may just be the most bizzare analogy I've ever read on this board. Is there some other Knick with those initials?
Melo's testing free agency affected Bargs ability to dunk in traffic? It made Stat disappear for half a season? Did Melo's free agency quip break Tyson's leg? Did Melo's test free agency cause JR to fail his tests and drive him to untie shoelaces? Did it make Woody suddenly stupid? Did it cause Felton to be the worst PG in the league? Shump couldn't find it within himself to shoot consistently with Melo's free agency weighing on his mind?
tkf dktf should be here soon to add more basketball-related posts to this thread.

I am comparing Melo and KT in the sense that there were a lot of posters who thought we would be better without both - addition by subtraction. In no way am I comparing their talent.
Whatever shortcomings they have as players, both KT and Melo brought something that was missed, and might be missed if Melo leaves.

Talent and shortcoomings aside, Melo brought us the playoffs singlehandedly, for 3 out of 4 years, and we barely missed it at the wire in this fiasco of a season. Yes, we just might miss being in the playoffs, although your point about "a lot of posters" brings to mind those who enjoy rebuilding years and lousy draft picks.
KT didn't bring us any kind of something that approached that. 6 fouls and a lot of effort. Oakley without the true menace and with a better j.
Failed analogy.
