Wesbrook makes a nice play and poses like an azzhole. What happened to having some class?
mreinman@ 5/7/2014 11:46 PM
Westbrook is all over the place - what a game he is having. He must be pretty damn jealous.
yellowboy90@ 5/7/2014 11:48 PM
Dudley looks like he ate every Little Debbie snack he could get his hands on.

We coulda had him for shump
btw, I have been pretty impressed with collison's defense.

What is steve Kerr talking about he was just challenging a shot but the whistle was called mid air.

Basketball is unbelievable. Look at the force Westbrook played with tonight--really sports are finding guys who just want to pound u and win with unreal determination. Toughness/desire with skill and athletic ability
They were spot on with Adams--he is going to be one of those guy u want on your team but hate if hes on the other. Its a weird team that has two great players 1 really good player role players and a fair amount of youth.

As I said, west brook has his flaws, a lot as a PG actually, but where he lacks in natural instincts as a PG he makes up for with desire and tenacity. The guy plays the game with such energy and force. he doesn't cheat the fans or his teamates... the guy is a ball of energy. how can you not respect the way he goes about playing the game?
djsunyc@ 5/8/2014 10:22 AM
so how many are legit fouls?

Exactly Westbrook plays with a motor for both ends! Very few players have that motor. When they do they are great and their teams win

This reminds me a lot of a young Mozgov on the knicks. Very goofy and everything looks like a foul because they are so awkward.

i respect it but i agree with barkley and kenny that he can still get to another level in terms of creating for teammates and making them better. i guess i get frustrated watching him because you want a guy like that to develop more skills as he ages before his athleticism diminishes.
mreinman@ 5/8/2014 11:00 AM
He needs to slow his game down. He can't just go full speed all the time. Kerr called him out of control a number of times and he is right.
His effort was beyond commendable.

It reminds me of the Knicks playing the Bulls with Jordan, Pippen getting every touch foul.

Steve Sommers used to say that if a player sneezed within 5 feet of jordan they called a foul. They did not want him to get sick

I like Westbrook- I know he can be a chucker and gets a lot of criticism, but I like his passion and watching him play. I remember we were interested in drafting him, but OKC picked him earlier than he was projected to go.
dk7th@ 5/8/2014 9:32 PM
god deron williams is just not a playoff-caliber player.
CrushAlot@ 5/8/2014 9:33 PM
Nets very disappointing so far. Have to wonder if they can win one.

I didn't think he would last until their pick

I wonder if Portland just needed to get used to playing against real defense. I didn't watch the last game or much of this but I would imagine going from Houston to the Spurs would be a major jump.
