Now rank them according to their contracts

any chance of grabbing Lebron in 2015
Then both Durant and Noah in 2016, those players would be a the best of both worlds in theory with the correct role players of both the Jordan/Pippen and Kobe/Shaq era
Phil back coaching again with his Triangle Offense and Philosophy in 2016 or helping guide his mentor, while giving him solid assistant coaches and development coaches to work with

NardDogNation @ 4/27/2014 10:01 AM
Based on their impact of the game, I ordered them according to what they should be making, relative to the next player (from most to least).
1.) Kevin Love
2.) Carmelo Anthony
3.) LaMarcus Aldridge
4.) Al Jefferson
5.) Paul Millsap
6.) David West
7.) Zbo
8.) Monta Ellis
9.) Nene (jumps to 5th if healthy)
10.) Batum
11.) Trevor Ariza
12.) Rudy Gay
13.) Shawn Marion

There is no hope for LeBron, IMO. It's a different story though for Durant.

I'd probably flip West with Zbo and Gay with Ariza, but I pretty much agree with this list.

I'd probably flip West with Zbo and Gay with Ariza, but I pretty much agree with this list.

There was some internal debate with West vs Z.Bo. I decided on their final ranking because West is a far better defender; good enough to offset the modest difference of their offensive abilities. I also ranked Ariza ahead of Gay because Ariza understands his role and plays within a team concept. Gay still fancies himself a star and does little more but chuck up bad shots. I hate watching that dude play.

silly Correlation = Causation people

One thing that can be argued though is his defense. It is weak but I am sure a bit over blown as well.

Touche. I think that KG was the only star of a similar circumstance to escape that kind of criticism. His game was perfect though, so I suppose they didn't have the "but his defense sucks" card to play.

He did up his efficiency (TS).

Minny 54.3
Boston 56.4

That is pretty significant

Wolves had a decent team this past year. They just can't stay healthy and the west was tough this year.
