Sterling has Prostate cancer!!!
No excuse for bad behavior. There are various stages of it and in fact most men of advanced age will get it. You can have it, never have it diagnosed and live for years or die from another cause.
Is he terminal? Just traces? Likely in between those two but does his condition now dictate the process? Does he really have it or pay a dr. off to simulate a condition or elevate a smaller diagnostic to garner sympathy?

Eerie similarities to Joe Paterno, although Joe was certainly loved and DS certainly is not.
Not to be insensitive as I have gone through the cancer ringer myself, but an 80 year old man with prostate cancer isnt much news, and I believe he's been dealing with it for a few years.
DS is a bad guy. Plain and simple. Life happens. Bad guys get cancer and win the lottery just like good guys.
I'm largely indifferent to the news. I wouldn't wish him well because he's 80 and the world is already too cluttered. I just hope that his family is/will be emotionally okay.

I think his family is doing just fine day dreaming of the $$$$$$$$$$$$$

I still think they have souls though, lol. I'm sure that at least one of them care about him.
