yup. They brought Phil here...let him do his job. If he thinks that is the choice then we gotta roll with him.

The creed is you don't interview or comment on a team that has a coach employed. While Kerr might have been contacted by two other teams it seems like he has to Shyt or get off the pot regarding the knicks.

He might be using other teams as leverage to negotiate his knick contract?

This is tricky for all because is Kerr going to have melo? Would Melo be a part of the process now, or is he really going to involve the recruiting process? Seems like many signs pointing to Kerr for now.

I love how the lakers "Want to make a splash" with their next hire. Ettore Messina has been floated around with Brooklyn (was Moscow's coach when Prokorov own them) and could be what Kobe wants. Until he don't.

Why is it that when we get interested in someone, suddenly other teams make a play for them? Kerr has zero coaching experience- no one wanted him as coach until he was rumoured to be going to NY, now suddenly every team wants him. They're welcome to him!

This is like the steph curry draft all over again.

Hilarious, watch him go to Golden State now. There's obviously something going on behind the scenes with him that's taken him this long to make a decision on our job which has been seemingly been available to take for weeks now.

Serves us right for leaving Woody out there as the lamest duck.

Maybe if we fired him right away, we could have brought in Kerr before the GS thing exploded.

Yeah but look how long it took Phil to sign. On a side note not sure that Kerr is worth any drama. The chemistry between Steve and Phil is good but this is a guy that hasn't coached.
