WELL THis is the first year with this core group together. Mchale should get a chance to be back and improve upon this season.

Houston would be good fit for the triangle. Howard and Harden can be used as Shaq and Kobe.
I think they are not utilizing Howard on offense enough. This is the key issue with Melo or Harden type players. The rest of the players never get into any kind of rhythm on offense. Chandler Parsons is a very good player too. McHale should focus drawing up plays for both him and Howard instead of letting Harden decide. He needs to be on Harden's case to make him engage his teammates more.

With teams like Indiana and OKC barely getting out of the first round, Golden State out in the first round, these are teams that have been together and are expected to go deep into the playoffs. Houston out in the first round has to be somewhat expected, or expectations for some teams need to be adjusted. Only Miami is a sure thing it seems at this point. Everyone else playing a good team has already fought for their playoff lives. Even with multiple star players, its incredibly hard to advance in the playoffs.

The way these playoffs have been going, I wouldn't anoint the Heat so fast. The Nets are deep and tons of savvy vets with playoff experience. Not to mention, they have two closers and one guy (Not your average Joe) who will be a tough cover for the Heat. I will be rooting like crazy against the Nets but I think they will give the Heat a tough series.

its been a great playoffs, but I think your wrong on the Heat/BK series. Heat will be rested, and are 10x tougher than the Raps who essentially lost a 7 game series by 1 point. I get the feeling the Heat come out and stomp them. I agree that that if BK can keep it close late that they have a lot of tools to finish games and win, but I dont think they have the ponies to keep it close. I see Mia/Was in the conf finals

Dragic wanted to stay. I think he wanted an extra year or the last year to have a player option and Morey said, "bye". Lowry just didn't get along with Mchale.
I always said they should have kept Dragic because he wanted to stay

I think everyone would agree with this but Lin is only 25 and one could argue he is on the same road as Dragic. I mean he was traded from phx for a reason and also a back up in Houston because he hadn't developed yet or he just got better coaching with Hornacek.

that is a good point. I mean dragic went from the guy getting baptized by a derek rose Dunk, to an all star caliber player with the suns. His game has improved. I wonder how well a guy like dragic would work with harden who also handles the ball a lot as well..
