That is another player that is brought up here as if he was the gold standard in point guards and the guy just isn't that good.Jeremy Lin sucked? as that based on the 1 game you watched in that playoff series??
that assist to troy daniels in game 3 won them the game. game 5 he had a career high 21pts while Harden was dogging it. game 6 he plays great defense in the 4th against Lillard and for some inexplicable reason McFail benches him and puts Parsons on Lillard and you know what happens after that.
Lin was a big factor in the rockets' 2 victories in that series.
very true, but you know how it goes around these parts.. gotta make lin look bad to justify NY not keeping him...
Very few who really do that ...
Lin is a good backup PG. The problem is that Houston gave up to top tier starting PG's in Dragic and Lowry. They will regret that for a long time.
Not sure they gave them up. I think I read those two didn't want to stay in Houston and chose to leave.I think everyone would agree with this but Lin is only 25 and one could argue he is on the same road as Dragic. I mean he was traded from phx for a reason and also a back up in Houston because he hadn't developed yet or he just got better coaching with Hornacek.
that is a good point. I mean dragic went from the guy getting baptized by a derek rose Dunk, to an all star caliber player with the suns. His game has improved. I wonder how well a guy like dragic would work with harden who also handles the ball a lot as well..

how long have you been around here to determine who does what? did you happen to even read the threads when Lin was signed by the rockets? most, not a few, but most were cosigning the move, even calling Lin Greedy, although the knicks never offered him a deal.. some went as far as to say that felton was not only a better fit, but just better.. it was a few of us who didn't agree with that at all..

Not sure why you are getting snitty / sensitive. Was my post hostile????
Most people here NOW believe that Lin is a better PG than Felton and that Lin is not as good as they thought he would be. He has under performed. (and I was one of his biggest supporters and he did not live up to my expectations)

nah, not snitty or sensitive.. and not hostile at all. sorry if you took it that way.
but I have been on this forum as long as anyone here.. I have a great feel as to what has gone on around here. For you to say very few do that is not accurate, I can chronicle how many times that has happened. Not just with lin, but almost every player that has left the knicks...
I don't think you have been around long enough to try to check me on that.. but no biggie.. don't want to make anything out of this...

There are a few irrational posters who are extreme but I find that the majority are rational and view Lin correctly (at this point)
