Like the mets to the yanks, jets to giants, and islanders to rangers.....

Nets are the step child in the nyc basketball universe...but they are still nyc. If they do well we gotta respect it cuz they still are in our city.

Anyway..... let's talk Nets here. Chime in

Every since they came over i have been really liking at their roster and how they can get better. I think they have been going about all wrong.

Fast forward to now....

I think they need to let Paul Pierce walk and either buyout Kg or encourage him to retire.

After that they actually have a decent roster just the wrong focus. They need to focus the action around Deron Williams and make Joe Johnson the small fwd. They need to make a play for Carlos Boozer and commit to Brook Lopez inside and out. They are going to need to play half court basketball and utilize the athletes on the bench when they make their rotations.

Boozer
Joe
Brook
Deron
Marcus Thornton

is a very good starting lineup.

Their bench is still very good as well. They can't really make any big moves because they are capped out. They could definitely restructure and commit to the guys they have and get their soul back. I think they seriously sold out then they came out to Brooklyn. Getting Pierce and KG solidified that.

I would even do a Brook for Hibbert deal. Deron and Hibbert might be good for each other. They would need Boozer though or someone like him

nets suck dude this is blasphemy on a knicks forum, you're gonna cause a glitch in the matrix.

but i don't see nets doing anything good with billy king as gm,

they're one foot in the grave and deron is basically a bum now because injury has closed his career. deron is officially an average pg now, not good enough if you're gonna drop buckets or want to do so

Nets never captured my heart but they are very interesting to follow.

Crazy money and a very interesting Roster. The talent was there, the chemistry was inconsistant. Miami was better, plain and simple. Not on paper, but Nets don't have Lebron.

How many years is the Russian invested for? He's obviously not the type to sell low, but is all this cash going to be around to fund a 10-year plan?

He's been presiding over starphucquing since he arrived, does that sound like patience?

Now WE have a PG turned coach! And with more rings, even!

Let's go Nyets! Can they beat 0-18? Can they out-tank Philly? Let the dearth watch begin!

Poor Bropez. He'd be a great addition to our team, and think of all the backpage potential of brothers fighting in practice! Maybe we could get the Kardashian's involved!

Hey Nalod, did you get any buyers for that Barclay's corporate suite?
