They say you cant teach height.... Ive talked about this guy a few times this year already The C position has changed in the NBA--Miami has proven you dont even need 1 to win a championship. But I'm old school and still believe greatly that you start in the frontcourt when building a team and go back. This guy is really under th4e radar
I know his stats are only pretty swell. He did lead the entire NCAA in shot blocking. The man measured at 7-1.25 in BARE FEET--that really equates to a guy roughly 7-2.5 255 pounds with a long wingspan 7-4. The part that stands out is his vertical--he and shaq have the highest verticals for big C's in the whole database. He had great speed for a big guy(needed in todays game) hes good size 255 pounds--but could still stand to be 265. There are a few players I like at the top of rd 2 Jabari Brown comes to mind others that might fall Clarkson Stokes etc.. but unless a guy fell and I had pick 35 or something like that--Id have trouble not taking him there. I think he can replace Tyson Chandler and we wouldnt lose anything for 1/12 of the cost. Also he may be better in the pros than college witrh mnore space especially on the offensive end.

But can he make coffee?
I just don't think 7 foot 1 guys can enjoy the type of longevity they did before. Moving a lot more as required by today's game ends up breaking these guys down quicker.

He isn't projected to be drafted at this point by draftnet or draft express. Can't imagine that he doesn't get picked.

There's still sometime left. I would be surprised if he wasn't drafted. Teams always reach for bigs. The age thing probably isn't helping him tho.
