Knicks · I wouldn't be shocked if we bring in Bynum. (page 1)

I don't think Chandler will work in the triangle offense, he has no post game whatsoever. With Tyson gone, we have a big hole in the middle to fill. Aldrich has shown some flashes, but his post game is still raw and he isn't a starter. Stat has improved his post game but he will always be a liabilty on defense and his durabilty is always a question mark. Tyler is also still a work in progress and looked his best after getting heavy minutes in the D league, but again a project, not a starter.

I can see Bargnani being used as sort of a poor man's Pau Gasol. He spreads the floor and is a decent passer. He also has size at 7'-0", but not a center in the trangle.

This really doesn't leave alot of options. I am not sure what Bynum's relationship with Phil was, or if he even has anything left but it could be a low risk high reward move at the vet minimum. Between Fisher and Phil, maybe they can get this kid refocussed on basketball. He is still only 26 and should be in his prime.

Also, Steve Blake is another name I think we might see this summer as Phil rebuilds his triangle offense

Your New York LaKnickers!

Please tell me you're talking about Wil Bynum switching to the undersized 5, right?

Who is Tyson getting traded to, by the way?

Chandler and Shump are our most tradable assets. Chandler wants to be gone, I'm sure he can be accomodated.

Bynum showed he could still play, but his knees showed that he can't be relied on for consistent minutes. Not to mention the drama. Pass.

Tyson needs to be moved. He took a lot of shots at Woodson when he was playing poorly. Fisher doesn't need that as a first year coach.

Tyson is the opposite of what his reputation said he was. With that said he's an expiring contact. He can be moved.

Andrew Bynum at 25 mins a game is better than Tyson did 35.

In Phil we trust

This is silly talk. Bynum is done. If Bynum wants to come at the vet min. Then cool. The guy needs to get in shape but its hard for big men to get back in shape.

Tyson and Shump to OKC.

We'll get youthier and OKC can make a run with Tyson and Shump. Time for them to go all in.

We already have one Phil reclamation project in process with Odom. Do we really need another?
The only Laker I'm vaguely interested in would be Kobe, and that's not happening.

Why are we going to pick crapples off a dying tree?

We wouldnt have to but Melo killed the tree and spoiled all the apples. Everywhere.

i WOULD be.. bynum is a scumbag, a clown and he has bad knees.. I hope to never see that fool play again. he stole money from the sixers, and honestly has had a somewhat forgettable career.. good riddance.. keep him away from here..

If limited offensive guys like will perdue, Luc LgAgley , Bill Wennin and Dennis Rodman can survive, i'm confident Tyson can learn to thrive. Tyson moves decently without the ball and has a solid grasp of spacing. You are right about us needing to find a replacement for Tyson tho. My confidence is waning in regard to Tyson's ability to play 30 minutes a night for a full season.

Wow, you're right! Melo infected MDA, and then MDA killed off the Laker franchise, DHow caught it from MDA and now Houston's in a downward spiral!

It's all Melo's fault, all the time! Melo, the virus that cannot be contained! playa2, where are we whe we need you!
