He definitely should be on the list in 2015 when he is a RFA for a maximum contact extension offered by us. He's going to be a star for a long time by year 4.
Excellent player that brings it on both ends.
He had a good game. Captain obvious on the scene!!!!
Kawhi is the cornerstone of their future and we should go after him, but SAS can match it and after being with Timmy showing that its more fun to not make max and compete, the kid might look at things differently.
I don't know him nor can speak for him. The kid can play and only 22!
Watching SAS gives me hope. A kid like that can be drafted at the 15th spot they bought him along slowly. In NY, we'd have ruined him by now.
He's not leaving San Antonio. I think he's a very good player, but Popp brings it out of him. He disappears often enough that he's very lucky to have such a great motivator. I would not sign him myself, and if he left San Antonio, he would not be as good a player.
Leonard is good. I don't think there's a huge gap between him and Paul George. That said, I wouldn't waste time or resources extending an offer to Leonard unless there was inside info stating that he wanted to leave. Why tie ourselves up for a week only to have San Antonio match? We'd waste time and end up scrambling to overpay whoever is left on the market.

It's all about the system, watch his highlights from game 3, 90% of his touches are from the corner, after a motion and few touches.
Put Woody and see Ql on the high post isoing, and on defense losing his men on a P&R.
Triangle or not, Phil emphasis on a system is our best news, regardless of players
You all know he was on our list to draft right?
I remember reading we really wanted him but SA moved up and snatched him.
He seems like he would fit in here and help to change the current culture.
EMS
he's not a max money player. you don't build around a guy like that. he's good in his role. i like him. but that's it.
I like him. With Chandler, Bargs and STAT, the Knicks have $52 coming off the books after this season. This does not include anything with Melo. If he opts in, then NY will have about $70M available. There is no reason, why they could not sign 2 guys at $20M per and 2 at $15M per. That would give them 2 stars and 2 real goods.
For me, Leonard can be one of those 2 really good players..
He doesn't like attention or the media, so I doubt he'd want to play in NY
is he the only guy left still clingin to the corn rows?

Naw, you have that rookie in Chicago.
