I think I may stop watching basketball if this happens, the NBA should do everything in their power to stop this from happening, it would completely ruin the league big time.
It's bad enough there are very few stars let alone super stars, but to have all of them on 1 fckng team, who's going to watch that.
This is so stupid
I hope it happens if it means getting carmelo out of NY..
Its not going to happen. While Lebron and Melo may play together somewhere no way all four will.
Couldn't blame Melo if he decides to walk, and I'll still likely root for him afterwards. But if he goes to South Beach? That f###er is the enemy.

Bosh has already said ht he'll take less to return. I think this has a real good chance of happening, especially if Miami loses. That frontline team would be too small in my opinion, but Riley would take that chance.

why, you don't think phil & fisher can turn melo into a smarter player..
Melo loses out on an estimated 70m if the 4 spit the cap room projected for the heat. And then that means no ray allen or anyone else unless its the vet min. I dont see all 4 signing with the heat.

no because Phil and Fisher cant turn him into this

they are not god.. you just don't turn someone into a smart player.. I have never heard of that...
are you admitting that he is dumb?

every title won except two in the last 20+ years has been won by a team with 2 super star players or three who were damn close:
Shaq/Kobe: 3
MJ/Pip: 3
MJ/Pip/Rodman: 3
Duncan/Robinson: 1
Duncan/Manu/Parker: 3
Kobe/Gasol
Isiah/Dumars
KG/Pierce/Ray
Shaq/Wade
etc etc... I ran short on brain power but you get the idea. I think the first Hakeem title (2nd he had Drexler) and the Pistons Larry Brown win were probably the only two titles in the last 25 or 30 years or forever where the champ not only had a superstar player, but a 2nd guy who was at the very worst an all star caliber guy.
Point is I dont blame a star for trying to recruit another star or going to play with one when history says if you want to compete for a title thats a prerec
But yea.. a big four is just stupid. I dont see Melo winning that way because they have already won. If he went to Houstons at least he could say he was the piece that brought a title or took them over the top. Joining LBJ doesnt get that done.

still butthurt and floppin..
hey I guess we can start calling him "souf beach meloser".... LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
how does it feel fish, that your hero is going to pull his pants down and tell you to kiss his dirty rear end? as deangelo said "how does it feeeeeel, how does it feeeeeeeeeeeeeeeel"? hahaha

LOL, you gotta be kidding me right? wasn't the thinking around here that carmelo does well with the olympic team? well miami is as close as you are going to get to that team... so why shouldn't they do well? won't he have the running mates , someone to "run" with that he never had.. stop being a hypocrite!! Stop it!!
at the very least the heat can keep carmelo out of lebrons way and he can ride their coat tails at least to another ECF....
If he does nothing but score, the heat will be fine... wade can no longer play a whole season, so it won't always be a big 4!!
as far as houston he won't make them an ounce better, because they don't need a volume scorer!!
they need defense....
You now want to redirect him to Houston.. LOL.. I love this.... you go from ragging morey to now trying to redirect carmelo there, to rooting for lebron to now saying a big 4 is stupid.. you see how your emotions are all over the place, you react emotionially to everything in the hear and now..
adios carmeloser!!
you tell me tfk... pretty sure your more familiar with that. Or wait.. do you do the kissing or does dk? Thats never been clarified.
three ignored posts... too many to click on. Besides, we all know what they say.
Wow all these years and the media still doesn't understand the concept of a salary cap. Bosh and/or Wade will no longer be Heat players

Exactly. Fans and media are so gullible

jordan was a volume shooter before phil, so was kobe, chauncy billups was a scorer in college and came into the league clueless as a PG,
Melo is not a dump player, but he's not the sharpest by any stretch. The older you get the more mature you get. Melo said he wasnt oppose to changing his game if phil saw something that would making him a more complete player..
Having two go to guys is a must, 3 is a bit much but one player makes the biggest sacrifice (see bosh)4 is assinine and usually a bitch move.
All i'm saying is why would the league want 3 or 4 of the top scorers on the same team..

Rodman was never consider a super star or even a star, manu is a good player never considered to be top 10, Isiah and dumars were great scorers but that team was known for defense, not offense. KG/pp/ray where not freinds, and they came to boston VIA trades not FA
Drexler played 2 seasons with Houston before he retired, barkley tried to do the same thing and fell flat on his face, he was also at the tale end of his career.
If melo was a 14 yr vet without a ring, I can see him joining a team with multiple stars on it, but cmon dude, this guy force his way to NY, they sacrifce a lot of solid players to get you. Thats like a guy running a marathon, dedcides to take a cab, then hops out a mile before the race ends and yells I won, hands in the air, chest out..

Pretty sure they'd have to drop Bosh for this to happen but yeah I'd heavily consider quitting the NBA if this were to happen. It'd also be the closest I come to having tkf level hatred for Melo.
