And how about the Mexican guy getting kicked in the head in the box in the 1st half with no call?
I just don't like when games are decided by a pk. No calls all game for either team then in stoppage the give one to NE. Eh, whatever Netherlands played well all game. Just leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

He lowered his head, leaned forward into the ball and the defender kicked the ball at the same time. It's not like he was standing up straight and got hit in the head.

But I don't think Mexico lost because of the PK. I think Mexico lost because they stopped playing their game after they scored the goal and went into prevent mode. Netherlands made an attacking substitution and that combined with how Mexico was playing changed the flow of the game.

Netherlands absolutely deserved to win that game they played much better than Mexico did. I have no issues with the penalty either.
Also happy to see Costa Rica win. I was rooting for Greece initially but they played so hard with 10 players you almost had to want them to win. Campbell up front seemed to create add many chances alk by himself from long passes as the entire gel offense on the other end. The entire team played their hearts out - great win.
France might be good. They might beat Brazil again if it gets to that.
