Espn guys loved the pick, first round talent
Love this pick!!!!! Early is a legit 1st round talent, was hoping he would drop to us. Lethal mid range game and tremendous athlete. Played in a great system...and if anyone watched the Kentucky game in the tournament, after Randle, he was the best player on the court. Love this pick....
definetly a great value pick. If larkin is healthy and can live up to his first round selection then this Mavs trade might be a major robbery
Not particularly familiar with him, but the comparison was James Posey. Honestly, not bad. Looks like we got good value and someone who can be one of your top 8-9 rotation players. That's really all you can ask for.

I am no college basketball expert but I love this pick. One of his strengths are athletic ability and fastbreak basketball. Him and Hardaway will work wonderfully on fastbreaks!! I am liking the moves Phil has made so far.
He's intriguing. Thought he resembled something of a tweener but he's explosive, tall and can shoot, which are all qualities that will make him a player with staying power.

I don't see what this pick really has to do with Shump? Shump is a SG/SF defensive specialist. Early is a SF/PF scorer. There's no reason they can't play together.

Shump would have been gone already. OKC wanted him for one of their picks and the clippers were offering their pick and barnes. I love Shump but he has to bounce back. I love the eraly pick but i would have also love a first rounder is this deep draft class

I was f*cking thrilled with that Lampe pick. He's seemed to have a good career over seas. Shame he never panned out here.
can he defend the perimeter on the nba level-- any lateral quickness? on paper too small to defend the post.
does he have a motor and does he devote himself to conditioning?

I like the pick but i agree. Its too early to call this a steal until he starts playing. Im hoping he does become a steal and also larkin ends up being a steal of the trade
