I would make it Melo and Shump for Boozer, Dunlevy, Anthony Randolph and Doug McDermott
All these players are expiring deals for us.....Chicago gets Melo and Shump which sets them up nicely.
We would have successfully entered a complete rebuild of the team....we have a young coach in Fisher putting in the triangle or some kind of system offense. We would have a great shot at getting a great draft pick in 2015, plus have cap space to bring in players the next couple years....
What more can you ask for?
for Melo to stay. I dont like McDermott. Reminds me of Joe Alexander. If thats my only option I would rather let Melo walk, or sign and trade him back to Chi for the trade exception I can use at the deadline.
Anthony Randolph? Please NO!!!!!

he's only 25...6 years of nba experience. He might be ready to start regularly contributing. Dude did average 11 pts 6 rebounds in 20 mins per game for 50 games between his 2nd and 3rd season.

maybe that explains why he's reminded of him....
McDermott seems like he could be a bust...Either Jud Buchler, Scalabrine...or Wally Z...won't know till you know, you know?
